So has any of our fellow Canadian DVC members heard the announcement? Yep AKL is the next DVC resort to open late 07 450 rooms total and part of that is converting the 5th and 6th floors to DVC. This should sell quite quickly.

I guess this kils the CRV rumours that were running rampant for the longest time now.

I did... I was looking for the web link where where you copied and pasted this article from. In order to avoid plaguerism, you *should* include the URL at the very top - before the body of the article.

All i need to do is post contact information for the person who wrote the article, which i did. If you don't like it. Don't read it. I gave this information to help out people who didn't know anything about the DVC annoucement and i see no point in why your trying to start a Flame war or making comments like that. So i am no longer going to reply to you on this subject, it just seems your trying to pick a fight.
Have a Great Disney Day!

I'm not trying to fight with you or flame you. I'm trying to give you a warning. I'm a member of the media... For example, if you copied and pasted my article without providing the link, I have full right to contact you and demand that you provide the source that it came from (print media, scanned article, transcript of podcast, invu or webblog article, etc) or remove it.
Sure - it says Orlando Sentinel in the author's contact, but did you take it from the Sentinel web page? Did you recieve the newspaper physically and copy the article verbatim? That's what I'm trying to get at.

It didn't take too much convincing to get my hubby wanting to do the same. Would love to hear about any info your guide may give you. Including maintenance fees - how many elephants do we need to feed?
I won't get a chance to call ours until next week some time.
BTW - looks like AKV is our official Dis name for our new DVC site!

Well I talked to our guide today and she didn't have much more info than I had. They are not getting any info on pricing or dues etc till they have a release date from DVD on when points will be available. So we will have to sit and wait till then. She did say there would be provisions for DVC members to partake in the sunrise and sunset safari's like the concierge guests currently get to do.
