Is Florida one of the states that has a hands-free law? My Mom and I were going to use our cells phones to communicate between the 2 cars. She won't be driving, so I wasn't worried about her. I will be, though. Is there any law saying that I can't drive and use my cell phone?

(I won't be talking to her all of the time. It's just incase we get separated.)

Not to nag, but just remember that you're about as likely to crash while talking on the phone as you are if you were drunk, and I'm assuming you wouldn't consider driving drunk. When you're driving in an unfamiliar place (especially one with lots of tourists also unfamiliar with the area), it's an especially good idea to just pull over into a parking lot, or restrict calls to long red lights. :)
