Hi, we are arriving at OKW on the 24th Oct for our first visit home. What do we need to remember to do and are there any items I should take. We are staying in a 1br (just the two of us) for 8 days at OKW and then 8 days in a 1br at BWV.
We are being picked up by a limo company (Quicksilv€r) and have a 30 minute shop stop. We do not have a hire car so we need to get organised for our supermarket visit.
Can I take teabags into the US?
So far I have....
Water (for tea)
liquid refreshments (strongbow cider)
bread
milk
cereal
juice

Most food is ok if it´s in an unbroken package, I´ve taken tea bags and also jam portions, muesli bars and such like.
If you drink coffee, get some extra, you only get one or two packages. Either get the large pads or if you get loose coffee remember the filters.
Something for on the bread? Jam, Peanut butter, cheese?
I got a couple of small sachets of Kool Aid, this is lemonade powder and I added it when I filled up our water bottle to mask the chlorine taste. They come in various tastes.
We also usually get some donuts or pastries for our first breakfast out on the balcony!!
Maybe some frozen meal for the night you can´t be bothered to go out.. chinese or pizza perhaps, we´ve done that at Vero.
Ice cream and snacks to go with the liquid refreshment for when you´re chilling out with a DVD.
If you need to go to a supermarket during your trip it is possible. Take a bus to Kissimmee from the Transportation and Ticket Center, there´s a superTarget there and the bus stops very close, it´s $1.50 one way, takes about 20 mins and runs every half hour.
Of course the shop at the resort does have all sorts of stuff, but it is more expensive.
