Good Morning Riddlers.......
Here's a different kind of riddle to challenge your brain this morning. PM me with your answer....
A spoonerism is a pair of words that can have their initial sounds switched to form new words. The pairs need only sound the same, not necessarily be spelled the same (power saw & sour paw, horse cart & coarse heart). There may sometimes be one or two connecting words (kick the stone & stick the cone, king of the rats & ring of the cats). Given the following definitions, what are the spoonerisms?
1) spoiled Neanderthal child & courageous cougar
2) child of a sorceress & liquid in a trench
3) milk and cheese & fops who are imaginary beings with magical powers
4) fondle feathers & Amsterdam
Have fun and play nice. ;) :teeth:

It's been a few years...but most of the work I did was near the "intersection" of I-15, I-89 and Legacy Parkway. There are about 15 bridges, and 30 retaining walls (I did those) and I also did some of the entrance/exit ramps in the area.

Twinkie confusion reigns!!!
Let me explain my last post: I started it with several thoughtful, intelligent and witty things to say but then life happened and then it was clean-up time and lunch time and then one of my twins passed out asleep which is wierd so I think she might be sick and oh yeah, my sister who is going to Disney in like 20 days called and wanted me to help her rearrange some ADRs and choose which parks which days and was doing this all from her batphone so I must use the internet to actually find park hours etc etc and meanwhile on the other computer the BABY submitted my half written message.
Ok so he is almost one and a half so he is a Toddler but really, isn't that a little young to be hanging out on the riddle???
So yes, dollars to doughnuts is a saying from my mom.... I love it but so seldomly use it in real life along with absomurfly, mad props, shout out to my peeps and other fine DIS sayings.

Haley - Thank you so much for the link! My goal is to know everything possible before I sail on December 17th. I'm slightly obsessive, but then, isn't that why we're all here?
Also - Umm. That is YOU in your signature picture, right? You don't look 30 yourself. How old can you be? 32?
(Hint to RV - this is how you do it. You do not call her a guy. You do not say she looks 42. You DO NOT CALL HER A COW!)
Strangely enough, I thought he meant Hugh Heffner, but I was just having a "Girls next door" discussion at lunch.

RV-Are there remedial classes at charm school? Because the point is to make each one of us feel as if we are the only girl in the room BUT to never ever say it out loud, to anyone because that destroys the illusion for the rest... Remember the ponies? soon you will be having to hand out over the top compliments like.... well, the ponies...
about your age... you don't have to tell anyone... the whole point of charm is to distract people into talking about themselves (too easy!)so you can get off scott free... for example a charming answer to Miss HaleyB would have been "Why sugar, older than a cute little lady like yourself. Unfortunatley My Wicked Aunt Ermegarde raised me under a rock so I do not know that band of which you are speaking... and my, does your hair look lovely today."

Begs the question, though. If Donna got a tag about always being right (because she is the riddle goddess, or one of the riddle goddesses), then does that mean that the TF is going to tag Lou with always being wrong?
