Disneyland Hotel Fireworks View?

I have read people report that you can see the fireworks from the Concierge lounge. I'm not really interesting in springing for a concierge room, but has anyone seen the fireworks from one of the downtown disney view rooms? Thanks.

we saw them last month from the 10th floor DD view. It was a pretty good view considering you can't actually see the castle.

Can you view them from either side of the DLH tower? Which room did you have? I am curious how it will be configured for 5 people. :confused3
