Exactly how does TTC work?

I put in my reservation for TTC for our vacation in Feb. and got a confirmation # and a note that said someone with a sign with our name will be waiting for us at the baggage area. When do we pay? I let them know that we will be dropped off at the Polynesian but will need a pick up 9 days later at the Hard Rock Hotel. Would we pay half and half or all at the same time? There will be 2 families of 4 traveling, how much do we need to save for a tip? Thanks for the information.

I would call and confirm your reservation before you leave home and also the day before you leave FL to come home (especially since you are leaving from a different hotel). You have to pay the full roundtrip price when you arrive at the hotel (there is a slight discount over the one way fares). I tipped the driver $10 each way (that seems to be typical from the reports on this board ), on our 2 roundtrips we did not have the same driver going back. We did not have a grocery stop, I would tip more for that since he has to wait. If you are planning a grocery stop, I would mention it when you confirm your reservation so that the driver can plan for it in his schedule. Have a great time! I was very satisfied with TTC service, I used them twice for roundtrip and once one-way.
