who has a xyron design runner

who has a xyron design runner? What do you like about it? what dont you like about it?
I just won one on ebay - got the runner and 7 disks for under 100.00 (which is what the runner is selling for in the stores alone)
thought it would look fun to play with.
anyone ever use it on fabric.
do you have pictures of projects you made with it.

I played with one at a demo days at a local store some time back...I thought the idea was cool and some of the designes were nifty...but for the price it wasn't something that struck me as all that great.

Of course we only had the designs that came with the machine to try out (the store didn't want to get out any "new" ones)...so we didn't get to play to much or see EVERYTHING it could do. I could see if you are a big computer jounaler that this could be real handy to quickly do a title, word or phrase (that is if they have a ABC disk...like I said they only had the one that come with it out for use to see/try).

Anyhow...I don't think you got a bad deal at all...machine PLUS all the disks for under $100.....and for that kind of deal I can see it being fun and worth while.
