I remember there used to be a thread like this, in like January or something. People would post some funny stories that happened when they were in Disney World, Disney Land, etc...
I just thought it would be interesting to hear some as, I'm bored and could use a laugh or two.

And by scanning through the DCL Boards, I was reminded of a story.

Okay, so we were still sitting in Port Canaveral on the Wonder. We were just kind of sitting in front of the tv and unpacking waiting for the mandatory safety drill. We weren't going OMG! LOOK AT THAT! to anything in our stateroom, because we had been on a cruise before. So my brother, my dad and I were standing out on the verandah and we saw one of those cruddy one day cruises. And started laughing.
So, they were playing bingo. My dad couldn't contain himself as the boat was so crappy, and shouted 'BINGO!'. We were sure the people couldn't hear him, but then again we didn't care.

Yea...ok. I'm SO going to embarras my dad but he doesn't have a DIS - so...oh well.

We were in that fancy Italy restaurant in Epcot + our waitor was really nice and all. Well, my dad got a glass of RED WINE (which is rare for him to do that - but you'll see why he never does anymore). My brother put his plate in the middle of the table to draw something so the waitor got the plate - and as he brought his hand up - BOOM!!!! - THE ENTIRE GLASS OF RED WINE SPILLS ON MY DAD'S TAN PANTS AND WHITE SHIRT. - My dad didn't care much. The waitor probably apologized like 100 times a minute. My dad was like, "Don't worry!! It was an accident. Please, don't apoligize, it happens." The manager and waitor came over and offered to but my dad a Disney shirt and to send them a letter if the stain on the pants and shirt didn't come off.

Well...my dad washed everything and there wasn't a SINGLE SPOT on the clothes. He sent a letter to Disney World anyway thanking them for their kindness and they responded to him as well thanking him for not making a big deal and being such a calm customer. After all, it's the happiest (and funniest) place on Earth!!

One time when I was just 6 years old, I was on the Disney Magic in the Oceaneer's lab. They had just announced that we were going to have a special guest come in to see us. As I saw who was coming in, I screamed like a screech iun somebody's ear. IT WAS CAPTAIN HOOK! I didn't like "evil people" at the time. But, now I'm 13 years old and I don't really have a problem with "evil people". ( I think I was the "special" at the time.)

this one happened this past march, when we went to disney world for spring break. we had just gone on pirates of the caribbean, and right outside the shop there we saw captain hook and mr smee. we were totally excited and went over to take pictures with them--it was awesome because it was early on a sunday, and not too many people were there, so we had no wait. i went up for my photo-op with the guys, and while mr. smee was making me laugh and stuff, i felt something on my neck...captain hook was unclasping my necklace :rotfl: he took it, placed it high on this little ledge and wouldn't give it back. i was laughing so hard--my picture with them shows this, it's so funny--and he only gave me back the necklace when the cast member with the characters said to captain hook, "you don't want me to get peter pan involved, do you?" it was so funny and awesome :teeth:

Oh my goodness. xD Haha, that reminds me of when my family and I went to WDW while Star Wars weekends were going on at MGM...
My little sister (about... 10 that the time? I think?) had a pink baseball cap on the day we went to MGM. We were all just standing around while Mom 'n' Dad got out the map and figured out what to do first. A Stormtooper, walking casually by us, hooked my sister's hat on the tip of his blaster! My sister was HIGHLY indignant as she insistantly poked Mom, saying, "Mooom... a Stormtrooper took my hat!". The Stormtrooper walked several paces away before tossing the hat back. :teeth:

Later on in the day, I had gotten a snowcone and was just standing in the shade enjoying it, when a Jawa came up to me and (by silent, yet emphatic, gestures) offered me an icecube in exchange for my snowcone. I refused - "No trade. No trade. Sorry... No trade."

My family and I were eating at LTT really late at night. We were being avoided by all the characters. (A parade was going on outside)

Pluto came, but a CM told something to Pluto and Pluto left. We were like ... :confused3

Then we saw Minnie walking.... we were like 'Yay! Minnie!' Right after we said that she started running. :confused3

Oh and Goofy, he stayed as far away from us as possible. He was on the oppisite side of the restaurant for most of the night. Me and my cousins were like 'Omg, I think he remembers us!' Because last time we went.... Goofy fainted... yes he fainted.

Ok this is when I was smaller...

Me, my family, my cousins, their grandparents, my ant and uncle were all there. So Goofy came to our table. Grandma Rose didn't see Goofy and Goofy put a hand on her shoulder. Rose SCREAMS and Goofy falls to the floor with a THUD. All the kids are all like 'GOOFY! AH! GOOFY DIED!' and we were all like

*end flashback*

So we were all like  he remembers! Ah! We are cursed and stuff...

So Chip and Dale come...

(Chip being 'gangsta' in my brothers DVC hat thing) <33

Minnie comes back Eventually...

Hey! Hi Pluto!

But wait.... where is Goofy? :confused3

(Oh em gee...look how excited we are! )

So then Goofy asks for my hand. Nothing exciting happens to me so I thought... 'Oh yay! He's going to kiss me on the hand!' But nooo....he pushes me up. And then he proceeds to ballroom dance with me! We were right by the stairs (There's like...two steps where we were...) and when we were spinning....we were like... oh my god...is Goofy going to fall off downs the stairs? But luckily he didn't lol. But Goofy was a great danser!
