It's still tentative, but we will probably go the 2nd or 3rd week of September, go to the first MNSSHP, "hopefully" take advantage of free dining and I want to stay at the Contemporary in a MK view tower room.

There has been a bit of chit chat about that. See the following thread. They have a poll. Although not a ton of people responded, out of the number that did, a low percentage said they would cancel if the free dining plan was not offered. A lot more are waiting to book if it comes about. I am going regardless and have booked the dining.

9/24-9/30 the same week i just went with just DH but we are bringing the kids. Looks like I won't get in 2 trips next year like I did the last 2 but I am ok with it ;) Staying @ CSR and praying we get a dose of the free dining AGAIN---if not I will pay for it no problem as I love the DDP.

I am sure they would enjoy it. We went for the first time last year, and my 4 yo DS and 6 yo DD loved it. They were so excited. They got to dress up and see the characters in costumes and trick or treat. The fireworks were fantastic. It was a lot of fun.

DH and I just discussed booking our trip soon. Our 10th anniversary is Aug 2 and my 30th birthday is Sept 13, so we're thinking about a combo trip. We went last year for the first time and fell in love... with Disney.:love: We only took our dd 5 and left ds 2 at home. This time, though, it's a trip only for mommy and daddy. I feel a little gulity, but my dh reminded me, that we never had a honeymoon, so we deserve it! :hug:

In a nutshell.....yes, AND no.....the dates typically aren't "officially" released by WDW until late Spring/early Summer (think late June/early July), but historically, they usually start around 9/15 or so. I have my trip planned around the 1st MNSSHP night, which would end up being the LAST night of my stay at WDW, so I am in the SAME boat as you.....patiently waiting :rolleyes1

We stayed at POP September 2005 and were supposed to meet up with someone at the pool. They no showed us. I too never saw anything lime green while there, so I'm interested in finding about meet ups or a way to recognize others too.

The simplest things amuse me ;) Kind of pathetic actually :) I made a promise to myself that I will book dining at the 6 month mark. Even though I booked our trip last year months in advance, I procrastinated and booked our dining at the last minute :sad2: We got in at alot of places that we wanted, but we had to be very flexible with out eating times. Mostly lunches, and I want more dinners this time. Good luck, hope you get in where you want!

The simplest things amuse me ;) Kind of pathetic actually :) I made a promise to myself that I will book dining at the 6 month mark. Even though I booked our trip last year months in advance, I procrastinated and booked our dining at the last minute :sad2: We got in at alot of places that we wanted, but we had to be very flexible with out eating times. Mostly lunches, and I want more dinners this time. Good luck, hope you get in where you want!

My DF said he is going to be calling Disney everyday for over a week! I didn't know why until he said cause each new day is the 6 months out from where I need to book for dining. I wonder if Disney is going to be annoyed with him calling everyday, I know I would.:rotfl: When we were there in 2005 for the College Program he had booked Cinderella's Royal Table for the day we got engaged and lucked out because it wasn't that far out from when we went. The only two places I'm really wanting to eat is of course CRT and then Coral Reef and that is for the atmosphere. I can't even remember where else we are eating right now. Well thanks and I hope you get where you want as well. :cutie:

That would be a great present! :) Last year Free Dining was offered to Disney Rewards Visa holders on 4/1 and then to the public on 4/4. Lots of speculation that it will be offered again. We can only hope eh?

I was able to add another room for my Mom and Dad at PFQ!! So they will be joining us Sept 6th thru the 9th for my Birthday trip!!:banana: :woohoo:

On my Birthday DD and I are having breakfast at the Norway Princess storybook breakfast...

Tepanyaki at Epcot for dinner;)

Waiting to find out more about the new Asian restaurant at AK this summer.

We only plan to visit AK and Epcot this trip.
