I have been looking for more information on the MK Photo shoot.

Can someone direct me to the correct thread?

The MK photo shoot is $800 and taken at about 6am. Before the park is open. It's the only way to wear wedding attire in MK besides getting married in MK! (And that's near $50k from what I hear!) There are two threads on page 2 that talk about MK photos. One is called Our Photos and the other is MK photo session. There are also people talking about different aspects of it in the Sticky on the top of the page Wedding photos. You have to look, and read, but there's tons of info.

Do you have specific questions concerning the session or do you just want to see pics? The three places I just mentioned have both, but I was just currious. Sometimes just point blank saying, "I want to know the cost of this.." Or "At what time is..." Or "What kind of restrictions are there when you...?" You have a better chance of getting your questions answered. Well good luck, hope this helps better! :thumbsup2

6 years ago when DF and I first talked about getting married at Disney, the MK wedding was $42K. When we discussed this with out WP, she said they weren't even doing the MK weddings anymore because the cost had gone up to over $100K. (Not that DF and I could have afforded it 6 years ago, its even more out of reach now!)

Check the photos sticky for pics. The locations are Front of Castle, In Castle, Behind castle in Balcony & In Carosel. Some people are lcky and had photos at HM, but not very often. It is only offered at 5 & 6 am. And takes 45 mins to 1 hr. You can hire someone to steam the dress, Im not sure of her name.

I'm glad I was able to help! And my WP told me that Carolyn Allen's will come to you and steam/press your gown! Hope this helps! :sunny:

And Dzstar is right, it has gone up, to exactly how much I don't know, but I heard you can get in for the $50k amt for something, and I think it's only if you want to have your wedding before or after the park opens/closes, if you want to have it during the day, you basically have to buy out the park for upwards around $140k+, and this is just something I read, I'm not sure! But from what I've heard, doing the photo session is a once in a lifetime chance and that if you have $800, do it! Well, good luck! :goodvibes

I have to agree. There are some things I could sacrifice in the wedding. But how many people get to have their wedding pics taken at Cinderella's Castle. To me thats priceless.

I'm pretty sure that the cost of a wedding inside the MK now has a minimum of $500K.

Our MK photos from our vow renewal in May are in my signature. FOr me just being in the MK without any other guests was very cool!
