Hard Rock Hotel.... Just got the call today. Marilyn in the excutive office was able to combine my free night with the $99 special. I can't believe it. 3 nights at the HRH for what I gave for per night on our last trip. We will be there Jan 10-13. If my sister doesn't want to drive down together I think I will leave on the 9th (my BD) so the kids and I can spend one day at disney.

BTW, I'm just driving back from your city Atlanta! It was so nice we had a great time, I've never been. (hate the drive though!)

Wooo, that ride is BOOOORRRRING, isn't it??

I'm going to post a new post to see who will be in town that week! It would be great if we could have a meet! Barry and I are TRYING to work out something! :D

I actually like the ride from Atlanta to Orlando but of course I do have to make the yearly trip from Atlanta to Detroit. If you want boring just drive all the way across Ohio LOL

I've done the drive from Columbus, OH to Cedar Point. It was OK. I had to pass through a lot of small towns.

If you want a boring drive, try the area between exit 40 and exit 22 in I-75. There's nothing but trees for miles! Zzzzz... :)

Velvet is the chic, ever-so-hip bar just off the lobby. Specialty drinks and plasma TV screens.

Last time I was there I got the impression it's become a favorite place for locals to meet before a night out at Universal.

Tip: If you keep your mouth open and your head tilted back and never take your finger off the waitress you can drink 999,999 drinks during a single visit.

I would guess that driving to Ohio would be much more boring! BTW, sha-lyn it was Canton I just came from, my sister lives there. Then we spent the weekend in Buckhead which I really liked, did lots of my shopping there. I love how there are so many trees in the City of Atlanta.

Sorry to have dozed off but i have not read every post to this thread since the sha_lyn tour group and i will invade MIB for some intense training 1/12 at 10:30 am.
