First trip to Vero Beach, some stupid questions...

We're going to VB in a few months for the first time. We're just back from a week at BWV where our kids became obsessed with pin trading and autograph collecting.

So, my questions are:

Does any CM pin trading go on at VB?

I understand there's a character breakfast with Goofy and Max on Saturdays. But we won't be there on a Saturday. Is there any reason for the kids to bring their autograph books?

Unless things have changed, there are no Disney characters at Vero. They do sometimes have "characters" roaming the resort...funny maids, butlers, etc. but no actual Mickey, Minnie types. So, no autograph book needed.

I'm not sure about the pin trading....anyone else know that one?

Yes, the CM's at Vero all do pin trading and you can sometimes find pins that aren't common at WDW.

Just for a little bit of info. If you do go to the Goofy and Max breakfast (they used to have it on another morning also, don't know if this has changed) they give you an autograph paper so Goofy and Max can sign it for you. So even if you forgot or did not have autograph books, not to worry!

I'll be visiting Vero Beach for the first time Dec 2nd. Im flying down to FL from MA Dec 1st. Wow is that getting close! After Thanksgiving watch out Im on my way back! Just returned 5 weeks ago from fantastic stay at WLV for 9 nights.
We bought into DVC and since I'll be staying at my MILs near Vero Beach before and after our Norwegian Cruise Line cruise we are going to stop and check out Vero Beach for the future.
Using our points next year for the Disney Magic 7 day cruise.
