I notice that a lot of you get good deals through AAA. I don't belong currently (have in the past) but I was wondering if you think the deals are good enough to justify joining again.
We will be at Disney March 31-April 3 so I know the chances of any other discounts are slim. Should I join AAA?

I think they are worth the price of membership. I got about $250 off a 10 night package with dining. I am not too thrilled with my agent, though.

I saved a couple of hundred after my membership fee.

Is it true that you can get multiple Fastpasses at one time if you go through Fastpass or is this just at Disneyland?

I saved $275.00 for our upcoming 9 day trip on the room alone and now am looking at AAA for tickets. IMO it is well worth the cost of the annual membership. We have had AAA for years and use it for lots of things other than Disney, this is the 1st time we have actually used it for Disney.

Another ?--did you just go to their office and meet with a travel agent?

I saved about $400 on a 10 night package with dining. I had originally booked CBR through Disney, and with the AAA discount I was able to upgrade to AKL water view for only a couple of hundred more than the standard room at CBR.

I wasn't thrilled with my AAA TA either. She was Disney certified, what ever that means but I knew more than she did, and I didn't feel confident in her. I booked with Disney now I am praying for a code!! (I like the thrill of a gamble!) :smooth:

Another ?--did you just go to their office and meet with a travel agent?I actually used Magical Journeys and they were able to apply my AAA discount when Disney released the AAA rooms. For the tickets I will need to contact AAA, I am pretty sure I will just walk into the local office. However, I will be waiting to the last minute to purchase the tix in case Disney comes out with something better.

Just got off the phone with AAA travel- something I did not realize is they do not offer a discount on the WDW tickets. They can order them for you but it is the same price as going thru WDW directly. Learn something new every day!

Booking direct through WDW without AAA, rate was $505/nite for Poly. With AAA I got the same room (just gdn view), anyhow, $404/nite. Savings $101/nite, total savings $505. So, IMHO, well worth the membership!!! Happy planning!

For this trip and my last trip, I've always started out my ressies with a AAA disc, then something better has always come along.
However, I'd rather have an AAA disc, than have to pay rack rate!

I just received a quote from everyone's favorite AAA TA and compared it against the WDW site. It's about a $350 difference.

I joined yesterday and booked our reservation today. The savings from the AAA discount paid for our membership fee plus another $100 or so.

I am looking to travel this month to disney and am considering joining AAA. It looks like my membership would be about $64. Is anyone traveling this month and has used a AAA discount? If so, how much was it? I considering POR or allstar music. Any input would be appreciated.

If you are planning this month and thats your only reason for joining AAA, you should find out if they have any AAA rooms left where you want to stay. It's my understanding they get only so many rooms at each resort.
