 Never been to disney world, I've been to Disney land 2 times, and euro disney.
 Does this budget look good? about 4,300 dollars (we've never exactly been on a "big" family vacation trip, saved up 15,000 dollars in vacation stuff, but we're using $4300, euro disney was a company thing where my father had to workd for like 4 days)
 for 10 nights,= $1809.96 (plus water parks and Park Hopper option)
 So---
$1,809=Camp
$500= food (hopefully less)
$50= (I don't know how much money people get tipped in WDW.)
$300=1 person gets $300 to spend on anything, (for 5 people)
 Is that good enough?

Depending on your eating habits the $ 500 seems low for 10 days. If you eat out at sit down resturants it can run $80- 100+ for 4 people. We usually have several meals and they usually run close 100+ per meal. We eat breakfast in the camper. Take a look at the various menus on the resturant section.

 Do you think bringing snacks will be any help at all (mostly healthy so we don't get hungry if we eat junk and stuff.)?

Sorry Stinky2u4u, you didn't give us enough information to help!
How many kids and how many adults? You said you want to hop and do water parks but for how many days? You can pay a lot for those ticket or you can get them at a discount.
Also, when are you camping and in what kind of a site? The prices for sites vary greatly! :)
Do you plan on having any meals at the campsite or eating all your meals out? :confused3

 Kids: My sister is ten and I am a teen, my brother is 4 and 45 inches tall, with 2 adults.
 Water parks and all: 3-5 days (Is that about enough)
 One more question, people say that the rides and all to WDW are long and confusing, what should I do to prevent this?
 Meals: Both, campsite and out. (Not always out, just sometimes)

Your not too far off with the tickets and the camping! :thumbsup2
How are you at cooking though! :stir:
Try planning most of your meals at the campground and I think you'll be OK :p
Did you figure in your gas to get there?
Keep planning, your doing a great job!!! :woohoo:

I think if you made it $900 for food and $200 per person for anything you'd be a lot happier. Also a robust breakfast goes a long way towards keeping your food bill down. If your family doesn't do breakfast then a robust other meal would do.

well if you and your mom are creative economic cooks you can do a lot to keep your food budget down while camping at the fort for your WDW stay. sit down ahead of time and come up with some meal ideas and a shopping list for each meal. some items you could buy at home when you see a good sale price, pack and bring with you and other items you could pick up on your arrival day.
since you are camping i am assuming that you will be driving down. on your arrival day, swing by a local grocery store and stock up on snacks, fruit, drinks, the items you need for the menu i mentioned above.
if you have a fridge in your camper you can keep items cold while at your campsite. if not, perhaps bring along a cooler or buy an inexpensive one at your grocery stop once in Fla.
if you have a small gas grill and a crock pot that you can throw in your camper, that opens up tons of good, cheap campsite meal options.
We (then a family of 3, two adults and one 10 year old who eats like a man) have camped there for 11 days and with occasional eating out and using the campsite eating tips above were able to eat for around $100/day. that is an adverage. on days where we ate at say a character meal or an upscale sit down meal we went way over. some days when we ate mostly at (or from - as we would pack lunch to take with us) the campsite we were way under.

We are going camping at Ft wilderness on Nov 25th for 6 nights 7 days at the parks 4 adults and 2 children ages 3 & 4. Campsite park hopper tickets and basic meal plan is costing us $2835. All we will have to cook is breakfast. This does not include our gas money. I don't know how far you are traveling but your budget sounds right.
