I went onto imdb.com to search new Disney movies & found Toy Story 3 (Buzz gets recalled to Taiwan & the others go rescue him) & Rapunzel to be just 2 of many new films coming out in the next 2 yrs.

So exciting! :Pinkbounc

They should have left many disney movies alone. Its sad when you see sequels off sequels. To me thats disappointing. Its like Cinderella, the adorable classic. As cute as the 2nd movie was, they never should have made it. But this is just my opinion. Im just waiting for a 2nd Pinocchio.

Rapunzel would be really cool. That story used to always creep me out though.

Also wanted to let you know that Cinderella 3 is coming out next year. It seems the stepmom can take back the magic of the Fairy Godmother. The premise is can Cinderella's dream still come true without the help of her fairy godmother.

It sounds a lot like the Twice Charmed show that DCL is showing on the Magic. It was a great show and it had a clever twist to it. I wonder if it turns out the same as the movie will.

I'm happy that Disney FINALLY decided to do a movie about "Repunzel," however I really wish they'd move away from the CGI stuff and go back to the animation that they used to do for "Snow White," "The Lion King," "Aladdin," etc. CGI is really cool, but only when used sparingly. That's what made "Toy Story," and "Finding Nemo" so great.

Just my opinion.

As far as Toy Story 3 is concerned, here is what I heard.

Even though Disney bought Pixar, there are still people from Pixar (say that 10 times fast) on "the board" (whatever that means). Disney presented the idea of Toy Story 3, but the Pixar people essentially said "no way" and let "Toy Story" be. Don't run it into the ground and have all sorts of sequels like they did with "Aladdin." The phrase I heard was, "Don't dilute our I.P. (intellectual property).

Anyways, that's the rumor in my neck of the woods.

Me too. I LOVE "Toy Story," both of them. But sometimes you just gotta know when to let it go.

Amen! You mean like how they've totally destroyed the "pureness" of "Aladdin," "The Lion King," "Cinderella," "Lady & The Tramp," "101 Dalmations," etc.? I swear, can't they do anything ORIGINAL? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE DISNEY! But when it comes to their movies the past 5 years or so they really haven't released much that's TRULY blown me away. I liked Nemo, Monster's, and Lilo & Stitch, but there isn't that authentic "Disney feel" to it like there was "The Lion King" and prior.

I read about the Toy Story 3 idea about a year ago but heard it was cancelled too. Toy Story is one of my favorites and I just don't see the idea of a 3rd movie working out. :confused3 I'm a bit relieved that the idea was tossed out. It would be like how they made all those straight-to-video movies of Lilo & Stitch and 102 Dalmations, etc. =P

Ditto!
My ds loves the series they show on the Disney channel. I am pretty sure it's all old episodes now. But that satisfies his craving for Buzz. A third Toy Store would be a complete waste of time and resources.
