I just thought of this after reading the thread on cereal.

What is your favorite soda/pop/whatever you call it?
And what do you call it?
What kind of soda can't you stand?
Pepsi or Coke?

erm...

i like mountain dew the most since we can't get it over here (unless you want to spend £1.10 on a can of it in Sweets From Heaven)
but over here i like cherry coke it's now black cherry instead of red cherry so it tastes better!!

and i probably call it soda but most of the time i call it a drink...

and coke and pepsi are the same just coke is more popular (and i've heard the coffee flavored coke tastes more like coffee then the coffee flavored pepsi)

My favorites are Coke and Sprite.
Of course, I prefer Coke to Pepsi. Pepsi is all watery, Coke has a stronger taste.

And I hate any of those flavored pop's.
Like:
Pepsi Blue
Vanilla Coke
Holiday Spice Pepsi
Mountain Dew Code Red

and I just hate Dr. Pepper.

I always call it pop or Coke by accident.

Diet Pepsi tastes better than Diet Coke. But coke tastes better than Pepsi...if you know what I mean

And what do you call it? I live in the south near Atlanta (where Coke is headquartered) and we call it Coke. Every thing is coke. You say do you want a coke? Yea sure. O.k. what kind? Sprite please. When my friend moved here from the north and he said pop we had no clue what he ment. We have fought about wheather it was pop or coke for a long time. Then I took a dictionary and looked up both coke and pop. Coke was a carbonated (sp) drink and pop was a sound. :goodvibes

I love just normal Coke. I can't tell the different between Coke and Pepsi, but I like Coke better than Pepsi because I like red better than blue. :D

And I don't really like any of the other stuff...especially rootbeer and dr. pepper.

i don't normally drink soda. like 99% of the time.
so if i do have a soda, it's normally whatever tastes good i guess

Everyone around this area says pop but I don't know why. The only people who call it soda are from the states, and most of the people who live here are either Canadians, first generation Canadians or from countries like Korea. I'm talking about my neck of the woods, not the entire country.
I only call carbonated beverages Coke because I grew up drinking Coke, I mean I wouldn't drink milk as a kid, I drank Coke. So I just kept on calling it that, and didn't learn otherwise until I was like 11.

I don't really drink soda, except for the very occasional fruit flavored one. I guess grape would be my favorite out of what I'll drink.

I'm trying not to drink as much soda..
But I love regular Coke or Pepsi. I can tell the difference, but I don't really care which one I have. Unless it's warm. I hate warm Coke.
I like Sprite, 7up, Cherry Coke and Orange Soda.
I hate diet, except Sprite.

You know what I realized the other day? Caffeine free Coke tastes different than regular.

mountain dew rocks but you cant get it in the UK

I don't care if pop is cold or warm.
I love it flat.
I absolutely love Raspberry Cordial, which is Raspberry flavored pop that you can get in bottles on PEI. In PEI nothing comes in a can or plastic bottles, it comes in glass bottles. It's really neat.

i just say coke when i go to a restaurant.....but when they want a good tip (i think - lol) they say,"We have Pepsi. Is that OK?" whenever the waiter/waitress would walk away my brother and i would laugh histerically...LOL

I like Sprite. Occasionally, I'll have Orange Soda. Yes, I call it soda. I absolutely hate flat soda. I can't stand it even if its just starting to go flat. As for it being warm or cold, I don't really care. If it's warm, I just put ice cubes in it.

I HATE (pretty much...yea...lol) ICE IN MY SODA. I call it orange sida as well...lol

my favorite pops are mountain dew and dr.pepper. everybody here calls it pop, I hear older people call it soda sometimes, though. The only pop I hate is root beer. I cannot stand that stuff. :crazy2:

I'm a waitress. And we're not fishing for a tip. we're trying not to make someone mad and have them complain. Regarless of how you like to think about it, the waitress is in control in the restaurant situation. Don't be mean to them. you may have to do that job one day. And its humbling experience to say the least.

Yeah they make lemon coke.
I like it better in mah pepsi though. that is the only way that stuff is tolerable.

I hate ice in ANY of my beverages. I'd rather drink it warm. It's annoying because it's cold and it hits your nose and it takes up a lot of room in a glass. It's really annoying when you ask for no ice cubes and they give you a lot. McDonalds is bad for this and puts 3/4 ice in there. We usually end up giving the ice to my dog (do not start ranting about how we shouldn't do this. I don't want to hear it.)

I'm a soda addict. My favorite is Dr. Pepper. Sugary sodas make my stomach hurt too bad, so I usually drink diet. I call it pop or soda.
