Hi Dis-ers I
I'm finally getting back to finish my report. We had a bad strom and the computer went wild or maybe it was me. Oh well let me get satrted.
The tea room at the Grand Floridain is beautiful. We met gmax's friends in the lobby. Now you all know how you feel when going out with people you do not know, sort of like a fifth wheel, this was not the case. I had never been on the board before and I was thinking I would feel a little out of place. Not so. The Tiaras welcomed each other like old friends that have known each for years and planned a party.
The table was beautiful. Yes I said I that did not like Old country roses pattern on the china set, but that was because I looked at it everyday at work and have to keep it displayed to draw attention to it. While on vacation I did not want to see Old country. I have to admit that it was beautiful in the setting it was in. We could have been in England.
The gifts were so nice. It made you slip back is time and forget the troubles of the day. This day so very relaxing.
I hope the Tiaras will keep in touch forever. I have a bust size dress form in pink and white in my sewing room. I've dressed it up in all my gifts. I plan to ask Gmax to take a picture and post it for me. I hope more of us, note I said us, can meet as time go on. Hurry up now before I have to buy a new heating pad and out of aspercreme.
Gmaxmom
P.S.
I think I'm learning pretty good. What do you think Gmax???????????

Ok - My Mother is popping up all over the place! Here's the first part she wrote on the welcome board.
Before I start my trip report I would like to thank all of the tiaras for including me in your beautiful tea. Also thanks for asking for a report from me. The trip was beautiful. Our first night there when gmax was taged and saw her old waitress was amazing to me .
The next morning was awaken by a phone call from the disney characters. I woke up with a big laugh. Gmax did not THINK I was excited but I was concerned if I could keep up. I had my knee worked one week before we left.
Epcot was a lot of fun. The family we met that wanted to know how we got there was big laugh. The ride in Norway was very nice. Epcot is very dark after the fireworks almost to dark for extra hours.
It was funny in Soarin to leave your shoes. I guess I thought I was really going TO take off.A very relaxing ride and yes I rode twice.
I love test track. It's so much fun because it go so fast. Misson spsce is as close as I'll get to going in space. I had to ride the less intense version for Gmax sake. HAAAAA!!!!!!!!.
Well here we are EXPEDITION EVEREST......... I could not let Gmax ride alone
Gmax keep talking and talking. I did not answer because if I did I would not have gotten on the ride. THAT RIDE TOOK ME UP, DOWN ON THE SIDE BACKWARDS AND EVERY WAY BUT LOSE. NEVER NERVER AGAIN !!!!!!! But some where in the back of my YOUNG CHILDISH MIND I MAY GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY . NO CHANGED MY MIND NEVER AGAIN. I HAVE A LOT MORE TO SAY BUT WILL STOP HERE.
My first trip tip before I go:
All the senior Moms take your adult daughther or son for the magic moment.
NO PAMPERS, BOTTLES,STROLLERS AND YOU CAN LOSE THEM AND DON'T HAVE TO LOOK FOR THEM THEY WILL FIND YOU.
Don't tell me about your knees, take your heating pad and aspercreme and watch your adult childs face turn into that little five year old again.
Let me KNOW if you WANT to hear the rest. GOODNIGHT GMAXMOM.
LAN, Imma get you! I'm going to start working out so I can catch up to you! And for your information, dinner was great! I should've taken my camera over so I could tempt you all with the pictures!
Thanks for following my Mother around the boards, but watch her, when she's not in my sight, she can be pretty BAD! pirate:

I love my nickname Gmom. I put Gmax out with a full stomach.
My Mt. Everest report is on the welcome board but I'll be puttin g the rest of my reort on trip report board.
We should start a mother and daughter trip meet. That would be fun. I'm getting hooked on DW and I did't intend to do that.
I'm going to log off now but I"ll finish my report in the morning.

Glendamax was also very friendly and warm as was her Mom. She and her mom were both so funny. I guess like typical mother/daughters. One likes this..the other likes that…but the love is so evident you could see it a mile away. :lovestruc They were both so much fun and it was great hearing about their adventure through both her and her mom’s eyes.
Look! This is from "The Hill's Family Surprise Vacation" Trip Report!

GmaxMom - I've been reading your TRs as well as Glenda's and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. Looking forward to reading more. I think it is absolutely wonderful to see mothers/daughters having relationships like this. I miss being able to travel with my mother - she's too sick to travel anymore. She used to go with me to New York every year.
Thanks for following my Mother around the boards, but watch her, when she's not in my sight, she can be pretty BAD! pirate:

Hi I'm back,
Lan guess what I went out to dinner today with my sister. No cooking today.
In your trip planning try to plan a lazy day. We took the boats around to the different resorts . That was so relaxing . I sat outside on one of the trips and could not see how I was ever going back to work. When I thought of the man at Epcot that wanted to know how we got there, I knew I had better go back.
Visiting the other resorts is fun. You will see if you want to change resorts and will know just which one you will want to stay at next. Don't tell Gmax but I want to try out all of them. I would like to float down the beautiful stair case at the Grand Floridian, it's beautiful. Oh I know now what I'm thinking - the stairs in Gone With The Wind . I hope that's the right movie.
Downtown Disney was great. I like the shops and it is nice to do on your last day.
I almost forgot. You must sit a have a dole whip and the mickey head ice cream.
Do you agree that until you go to magic kingdom and ride peter pan and a small world you don't feel like you in DW? I did not spin Gmax in the tea cups. I wanted to real bad. Since I rode POC twice she could've let me spin her once.
If I think of anything else I post again. Have a good night. :Pinkbounc

I think that would be a lot of fun. It will give you time to catch up things you miss being busy with every day work week and running around. You won't miss anything becuse you 're there together with out normal daily at home interuptions.
Good morning Gmom!!!
I am glad that you had a chance to go out to eat on Sunday. I love touring the resorts and dreaming of the day I can stay in a deluxe resort. I also love the Mickey Ice Cream Bars. :mickeybar

Living in jacksonville (moving to Celebration in next few months) :dance3: :woohoo: :yay:
Ahhh......soaking in that parentheses  :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Ok, back to this. Living in jacksonville I get to go to Disney quite a bit (still not as much as I wish), but I love to hear about people who take a week there or more. Longest we have stayed is 4 day 5 night. On our vacation we love to eat too!
I'll be honest though. I've yet to ride EE (I'm a baby deal...yes I waited while my wife road...sad, eh?)...but seeing Gmaxmom on it has me rethinking the ride (heck if she can survive, can't i?)
I'm glad you guys had a great time!
