I started packing, and we aren't going until 11/18!

I am SOOOO excited for this trip. I had to stop by Wal-Mart to pick my kids up something, and while I was there decided to get what I needed for our vacation.

I picked up:
2 rain ponchos for everyone
new toothbrushes
toothpaste
shampoo & conditioner
gel & hairspray
deodorant
antacids
bandaids
hand sanitizer
tylenol

Anything we don't use on vacation will be tossed before we leave.

I went home and got my cosmetic case out and started packing! DH thinks I'm nuts...but reality is I'm so excited and can't wait for this trip!

Me too! We leave Nov 15 and I just paid the trip off this weekend which made it seem so real. So I started setting aside some short and tees and a few other things!

We leave on Dec 1 and now that it's 60 days away I got the 'go ahead' from DH to start packing :goodvibes I just came back from the disney store and they had long sleave shirts on sale 2 for $15 and they had Jasmine shirts - DD7 will be so excited!!!

I'm with you 01Sweetpea. We leave the evening of 11/17 for arrival on 11/18 as well. I just bought some travel games for the boys for the car, and I just bought a shoe organizer for the bathroom door (for our toiletries). I've thrown bathing suits into one of the suitcases. I like your idea of getting new toothbrushes - I'll buy some this week. I'm trying to buy just a few things off of each paycheck so it won't seem like a lot to get ready.

Either lime green ribbon...or go to Home Depot...in the paint department there are paint chips in the shape of Mickey. The one closest to lime green is called Alien green (I think). I usually tie one or two on the backpack I carry.

Is this your first trip to WDW without the kids? It's a dangerous thing to realize just how much fun you can have without them!!! We did it two years ago and we're already planning another long weekend in WDW by ourselves next year. Shhhhhhh!

Oh my gosh! I thought I was the only one doing this! LOL. . . .We leave the 11th of November also! It was just my birthday and some of my family got me clothes to take to disney so I just went on and put them straight in the suitcase. I can't believe I'm not the only crazy one!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Now cut it out Sweetpea...... we're leaving 11/16 and you're making me feel bad because I haven't done a thing for our trip. Okay maybe I've done one thing. I put all the autograph books, Disney pens and gear left over from our last trip into a box. I'm trying not to forget them as I did for our last trip. I left the whole pile of them on my desk. Good job mom!

Oh wait, I have an excuse. I actually can't pack anything yet because my three DD's don't have a clue that we're going. At least my DD6 doesn't have a clue. My teens probably know we're going sometime this next year because there were a number of WDW and DVC envelopes that came during the month of September. My oldest DD is applying to college so she looks at the mail everyday. They asked once or twice, but I denied it.....so they stopped asking.

A fairy godmother is sending some postcards our way in early November. Until then I'll just have to keep my disneyitis in check. I'll have to live vicariously thru the rest of you..... Keep up the good work y'all.

We will be arriving on the 18th at WL also...just me and dh :lovestruc I just got out the suitcases yesterday...and will be loading them a little bit each day. We will be looking for the green :thumbsup2

We fly out on the 18th - got the Magical Express package yesterday. Don't feel like you are alone packing already. I found myself picking out snacks in Walmart yesterday. It seems that everything is now connected to vacation. Are we obsessive? - we would not be posting on this site if we were not - but we certainly are in good company.

Hmmm...I wonder how much time I should let pass before I bother our TA for our package. Are your ME passes coming directly from Disney? I assume you've already received your other package info. Yes, the package (really a fat envelope) came directly from Disney...bright yellow luggage tags with green mouse ears and an info booklet. It looks like they send it out approx. one month before your vacation.

I can't wait to get my tickets. Everyday I skip down to the mailbox and slowly open up the door in hopes that our tickets will arrive. Of course we still have awhile until our trip - 45 days to be exact, but I'm just so excited. :goodvibes

I've tried to pack, but I'm not doing so well right now. There's so much going on I can't seem to focus on the packing. I'm trying to do holiday shopping now before we go and I'm not doing so well. Of course the rest of the people in my group are the night before packers, so they think I'm crazy trying to pack this far out, but I just have a funny feeling that it's going to get crazy the closer to the day we get.... :yay:

This post makes me so happy! I leave on the 9th and it's taking everything I have to not get out my suitcase! I even went shopping for travel stuff yesterday just to keep me from packing already.

I've made this trip every year since 1999. It's only 3 days....why am I so excited???

I'm going through serious vacation withdrawal, that's why! I had a very busy year and a crazy, travelling summer, but I've just been working since the end of July and it's making me insane.

Good to know that I'm not alone!

WOO-HOO...got mail from Disney on Saturday! A nice fat envelope!

We are not using ME, but we got luggage tags, my Planet Hollywood vouchers...one for a free entree, and one for merchandise!

Now I have to decide WHICH luggage tags to use...we always use our DIS luggage tags everywhere we go...now I have Disney ones as well. Maybe I'll use them both!

I already have the suitcase out and clothes in it. Does anyone know where I could find Xmas tees for the MVMCP. Last year I got cute tees at Old Navy for the MNSSHP. I haven't seen any Xmas tees yet. I live in the Mass./NH area. We will be at SSR 11/11-11/17. Can not wait :banana: :banana: Its my first time seeing the Xmas Parade :santa: :santa: (Also first time, husband and I and no child :cool1: )
