I just got a pt job at Kohl's, so I can get all of those great employee discounts for a new, spiffy, WDW wardrobe!! :cool1: Did anyone else do this? Ya can't beat those store discounts. :thumbsup2

I worked at a Hallmark store in college so I could get my holiday ornaments and Boyds Bears at a discount! :thumbsup2

I started with a direct selling company because I was spending so much on their products - I wanted the discount (and it turned into a fun job) - and have considered working at Lowe's - not that I'd even enjoy it, but man I am in there buying things every week! You have to love what you sell so why not pick something that you buy all the time!

I use to work at Kohls a long time ago. I worked there because I needed a job. You can count on your checks being smaller!

I considered working at B&BWs or YC for a brief moment and then changed my mind. There would be no paycheck for me at all if I worked at either of those places. I just don't have any willpower.

I work at Subway. It's fun and I get to try some awesome sub combinations.

Started the retail game in high school, and yes back then most paychecks went back to the store. But to be honest, now that I do it full-time in a management position, I hardly ever shop. The discount eventually does lose its appeal. :rotfl:

I worked at The Disney Store because I was a Dsiney freak. The perks were great. It was the best part time job I've ever had. I miss that place and people I worked with.

I work full time but needed a part-time job to help pay for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. So I got a job at Kohl's. Boy was it hard to save that paycheck (until the party - which turned out really nice for my parents and made my mom really happy)!! I loved their employee discount!!

I also worked at David's Bridal - that was fun (and a lot of hard work, but I got a better salary there then at Kohl's).

While my DH was taking some computer courses, I needed to get a pt job. While in HS I worked at Burger King, I knew fast food places would be very flexible. I chose to work at Mc Donald's. They had better happymeal toys. When my DD was 5 we would be constantly going to McD's to get the one toy to finish the collection. Sometimes we wouldn't even eat there, we just bought the toy. So while I was working there I always knew when the new toy was comming out. I was able to get all of the collections the kids wanted. Now I am their substitute. I work there when they need an extra hand. I volunteered to work 2 days a week for the whole month of Oct. to save some extra $ for out trip in Nov.
