Ok, I have heard conflicting information, so I figured I came to where the best people hang out... DISBOARDS!!!

I have heard that an annual pass holder can book more than 1 room under the annual pass discount. Is this true? Some areas I see it is true, in other areas it isn't true... So, what is it?

I ask because a friend from work was thinking of going down to WDW the same time as I am. But, the resort stays would be kind of expensive. She said she could afford it if she had a discount. I suggested she get the annual pass, but it wouldn't be worth it to her cause she doesn't go every year, only 1 every few years. I have an annual pass already, and I have received some nice discounts on my stays. I thought if I booked 2 rooms under my pass, one for me and my friend and one for her and her family, then she may be able to afford it and go.

Thank you for helping out.

Yes. You'll - most likely - have to be there with them. One time we checked in with an AP discount, but I was the one listed as the driver of the car. I had to make a trip back to the airport, I think. Anyhow, I did give them the AP, and when I got back, they said we were all set. I figured I'd have to show up in person anyhow, but they didn't make me. Maybe we just got lucky, but I was listed as a guest in the room, so maybe that makes a difference.

You can book up to 3 rooms for the same time period but it's risky if you can't be there to confirm that you are an AP holder. Your guest may have to pay rack rates if you are not there.
