I had heard there is another major press event. This one on 10/4. Do we know what will be announced?

Mickey Mouse is retiring, they'll be opening a new park in Norman, OK, they're honoring Brittany Spears for embodying the 'Mouseketeer' image to the fullest and they are selling out to Wal-mart at years end...Nothing too important. ;)

They're replacing the bronze statue on Main Street of Walt Disney and Mickey with one of Michael Eissner and Minnie.

I have heard it may be the announcement of the next phase of DVC construction: The Contemporary Resort! I will be all over that if it's true.
