Have been looking at a used, 1993, Palomino pop-up. For the price, around $1300, it looks good to us, but it is the first time we have ever had one. This is why we want to buy older, cheaper, and see how it goes.

I think it's worth the price, but a few places I have read where the Palominos are the "cheaper" campers. Worth it? Any advice?
thanks,
lori

Lori:

Try going to www.nada.com and getting a the used value on it. You have to know exactly what model it is and what all the extras are on it but it will give you a good idea how much it is worth for your area.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the link. It makes me feel good to know that my popup is worth more than I owe on it!

Not that I'm planning on selling it anytime soon, but it made me smile.

Thanks again!

we had a Palomino pop-up, it was great.

My parents bought it used, and then sold it to us after a few years.

We used it two years, and we needed to upgrade to a hard-sided-tow-behind.

Yes, check out the nada website, used popups are a good deal if in good/near perfect shape, and you may find when you want to resell in a few years, you may get the same price you paid for it.
