They did during the summer. I haven't seen him lately though.

We saw him a couple weeks ago signing autographs but there was always a huge crowd around him.

Do they usually have him in a specific area for signing or does he just wander around?

Yes. He was there last week. There was a VERY long line waiting for him and most of them were ADULTS!!! :teeth:

Here's my picture with the Captain. This was taken in August. He stayed in character and was facinated by my shiny pearls (mardi gras beads from New Orleans Square). When I told him not to touch my pearls he assued me he would only borrow without asking.

We just happened to get lucky. We were watching the pirate show and he walked right in the middle of it. Well, we left the other pirates, followed Jack and were about 4th in line. But that line got long fast.

When we were there in July, he was always around the Pirates ride, and near Rivers of America. There's a big display set up.

I wonder if he will still be there in DEC? I would love to get my pictured taken with Captian Jack. That would just make my day!

I have a feeling he'll stick around till the pirates craze dies down. Not too crazy about the ride changes or the movies :sad2: , and I think Disneyland got a little carried away with all the pirates merchandise - it's everywhere !

Good news, just read in another thread that the pirates will be sticking around. Someone posted a cast member information sheet about the new dreams promotions and it says the pirates are staying. :cool1:

I know they're not the real Johnny, but they're close enought for me to be happy. Probly the closes I'm ever going to get.

Can't wait to see Capt Jack!
