October Crowds?

We will be going to Orlando (staying offsite) Oct 20-24. Anyone know what the crowds at the Universal parks are typically like then? Will it be miserable without FOTL?

Also, what is Halloween nights? My kids are 13 and 11. Is it age appropriate for them?

Crowds are light in the morning, but build in the afternoon before HHN.

Your kids are right at the age when they can go to HHN. My daughter went at the age of 13 and was ok. Tell your kids that it's just "boo scares" and no one is going to touch them. If they're ok with this, then you can go.
