Don't know if anyone has already posted this.

My mum came back from Barbados, and said the queues coming back into the UK were horrendous yesterday. Both at passport control and at customs once you've collected your suitcase. Sniffer dogs were in operation at Manchester. Which is good, to help catch all those drug runners etc.

Anyway thought this might help. I'm going to try it when we go in a few weeks.http://www.iris.gov.uk/

That sounds like a good idea, we will try that when we go.

You don't need to join if you are british, it's to help identify foreign residents entering the uk :thumbsup2 That said it's a good way to prevent identity theft :thumbsup2

Hmmm, have to look into that, I have an Iris Identification card over here in the Netherlands, it costs about 75 quid a year but worth it when I can just breeze past a 45 min queue at customs!!

bwaahahahaha

At the moment you have to be a very frequent flyer to enrol, my 9 journys in 2 years was not frequent enough so I was not able to enrol, this may change in the future they said.
