Is this a bad thing to do?

We're staying at POP, and from what I understand, they charge you for a fridge.

We would normally bring a six pack of soda for that whole week-- we normally drink one soda per day each.

Would it be wrong to buy the refillable mugs on ebay instead of at the resort? We really wouldn't drink $12 of soda, but we'll buy a crapload of bottled water at the resort and in the park.

If that's unethical, we simply won't do it.

Don't know if it's "unethical" or not, but I most likely would not do it. Also, all depending on how long you are staying for, it's extremely easy to rack up $12 worth of soda per person.

The mugs are good for the length of stay at the resort they are bought from. So buying from Ebay is only good for use at home. You could just buy a few six packs and get ice from the ice machine to put into the glasses they have in the room.

Best bet would be to take a soft side cooler that can collapse to fit in your luggage.

To answer your question as to if it would be wrong to buy them on ebay, if you're speaking ethically, then yes, since you're not paying Disney.

Of course it would be unethical, and, actually illegal (if you want to split hairs). You'd be getting something from Disney for free, which they fully intended on selling, the soda.

Buy your own mugs. You can use them for soda, pop, tea and ice tea. YOu can use them in the morning, afternoon or night. Fill them and take them to the pool. YOu will get your moneys worth. Enjoy
