I'm scared

Those storms that were in Kansas are comin my way! I'm terrified of storms...and i don't want a tornado to happen! :( HELP!!!

Don't fear a storm. I happen to LOVE storms, and yes...I've lived through a tornado, as well. That is kinda scary, but I stayed in the basement until it blew over. Lots of damage outside, but nobody was hurt. Stay away from windows. Watch the news or listen to it on a radio. When the worst part of the storm is headed your way, head for the basement. Bring your pets! Don't forget fresh water, a flashlight and that battery operated radio. Sit tight and try not to be scared. It will be over fairly quickly.

It's okay, don't worry. We get tornados often up north, in cottage country we call it. We have storms over here too. Make sure to have these things in case of emergencies:

Flashlight with extra batteries
Radio
Blankets and Pillows
Food and Water
Book/magazine
iPod/walkman

just to tell you all people know storms decrees power when they travel so by the time it reaches you it should just be a little baby storm

Thank you all for helping me get past it! They were STRONG but...we hung out in my basement...where i still am. I did have all the emergencie supplies ( and my ipod! )

Hey dont be scared when i was one a tornado picked the roof off my house and turned it around i wasnt scared one bit plus ive been living through tornados when they hit we still havnt hit this yr but they will not hide for long

Sorry to hear that a storm is coming your way- i dont have storms where i live but here my advice for you.... I would talk to my parents about leaving your house and head up to some where that the storm wont hit oh and pray to god that the storm wont hit :)
