Last summer, guests of hotel NY received 3 (or 5, not sure) free Fastpass per person with every stay

Now, checking the winter catalogue, I realized that there is no longer Disney Hotel Fastpass on Hotel NY, and they are just on Hotel DL (page 83) :sad2:

Can anyone confirm this, or its just an errata?. I was thinking on HNY for this december, and those fastpasses was one of the reasons

Disney Hotel Fasspasses will sadly stopped being issued to guests staying at the Hotel New York after 9th November 2006.

That's a shame as HNY always deserved to be treated as a star rating along with DLH IMHO :)

We are staying at HNY in December.
Fastpasses were one of the main reasons we chose HNY. The lady on the phone didn't say anything about this perk being stopped when we booked it. Does anyone think it's worth complaining?

Well I would. Even if nothing comes of it, it would make me feel better for getting it off my chest. :)

I think I might Elaine. I'm really quite annoyed. The fastpasses are the reason I chose HNY rather than SL. I thought SL would look nicer at Christmas, but chose HNY coz the FPs would save time.

Shall I just ring the booking phone number, or does anyone know if there is a particular address or phone number for complaints?

Has anyone complained before?

That does sound rather disappointing, I would complain and see what they have to say. We stayed at the DLH this year and the fast pass now have restriction on them, you can only use 1 a day per person and only after 2pm. We found we would get on the ride earlier if we got are own fast pass from the machine. With the fast passes we got from the HNY last year we could use them when we wanted.
I don't really see the fast pass as a big perk anymore and it would not influence my choice between the HNY and DLH.

Yes, that really is disappointing. Does anyone know why they are dropping the HNY ones, or why they have restrictions on the DLH fastpasses? Does it somehow save money for them? We stayed in HNY last March and got great value from the fastpasses. I wonder if the VIP Castle Club ones also have restrictions on them :confused3

Yep, given as you say it is just as easy to get your own FP in the morning :)

Yes, I hadn't realised about the restrictions now imposed on FPs. So it is just as easy to get your own in the morning. I will still complain though- something might come of it.
Does anyone know how I complain? Do I do it via the DLP website?

I've just rung up Disney and they have arranged that we can have FPs for our stay. Apparently the lady we spoke to when we booked should have told us that Fps were being cancelled for the winter season, but as she didn't, we have been given them.

I'm so pleased.

Thanks, I don't usually complain, especially not to Disney as the staff do a fab job. We always have such brilliant holidays. But I'm so glad I did.

We're booked in the HNY for December. I also thought we were getting fastpasses so when I saw this thread I contacted them.

i've received an e-mail today lsiting all facilities available at the HNY and it states you get 4 fast passes each. :cheer2:

It then goes on to explain how the fast passes work.

I'm assuming form this that the FP are still awailable. :confused3

Looks like i'll just have to see what happens when we get there.

Definitely worth having a copy of the email with you when you go just in case ;)
