Hi~
My brother lives in Orlando and I asked him to stop by the Crocs store at the airport today because he was going to be there anyway. I wanted him to ask when and where the new Disney Crocs would be sold. He spoke with John who is the manager of the store and he said "they would not be carrying the Disney Crocs nor would any other retail location. He said that they had received a memo that said they would be sold at the Disney Parks. He went on to say that he had heard that they would possibly be sold at Disney Stores but that was not a sure thing yet.
I have no idea if this information is true or not so please don't be upset with me if it isn't. I just wanted to pass on what we "heard" today. Geez, if they're only sold at the Parks that's going to be rough on those that don't have trips planned right away. I can send my brother for mine but I want to look at them and try them on, etc.

My girls can't wait for them to come out. They love theirs! When do they think they'll be out? We'll be in Disney in early November!

I was hoping they would hit the stores in October as we won't be at WDW until the end of January. However if that is the case than I will buy the crocs at WDW and give them to my grandchildren as souvengers. They will love them as well as this grandma!

Hey MickeyEars - I see you live in Barbourville - I live in Harlan! Small world! I didn't even know there were going to be Disney Crocs. Can someone explain them to me? I have two pairs of Crocs. Are the Disney Crocs specially made by Disney and not the Croc company??

Hi snowglobe girl!!! It is a very small world indeed. My Dad was originally from Harlan. My maiden name is Blanton. That's a name I'm sure you've heard of in Harlan!!!
Aren't the Disney Crocs adorable? I can't wait to actually see them!!!
Here's a link to a post with some pictures of additional colors that will be available.

Does anyone know when they will be selling the Disney Crocs in the parks? We're going to be going down for a couple of days during Thanksgiving week and I would love some of the Mickey ones.

:wave2: Yep MickeyEars - I know several Blantons, it is a common name in Harlan. I assume you are probably related to Jimmy Blanton that owns Ace Hardware. I actually work in London (yep, drive 75 miles one way to work) and I went to Union College. It's cool to find fellow Disers close to home!

OK, sorry for the sidebar

They are really cute! I just wish there were some in more neutral colors. Oh well, guess I'll just have to buy them anyway! :teeth

Guess I'll just have to look for these cute shoes in....14 more days and counting :Pinkbounc

I am not sure I would even like the Crocs, as adorable as the Disney ones are!

Don't they make your feet sweat, like the old "jellies" did?!?

NO! They are nothing like jellies. Jellies were made of plastic! Crocs are made of a special material called Croslite. Some people may have a slight problem with sweating, but many of those are the closed shoe (no air holes on the tops or sides). No one thing is perfect for every person, but they are not known for making feet sweat.

Croslite™, a proprietary Closed Cell Resin (PCCR) which is NOT plastic NOR rubber. Croslite™ is closed-cell in nature and anti-microbial, which virtually eliminates odor. it is an extraordinary impact absorbing resin material developed for maximum cushioning. its closed cell properties resist odor, inhibits bacterial and fungal growth and are non*toxic. this versatile material can be worn next to skin and be cleaned with just soap and water.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the different names simply represent colors and not the hole design.

ie - green = Tinkerbell/pink = Princess etc

I hope I'm wrong, but that's my guess after seeing so many colors with just the Mickey head. They're all fun, regardless! (ohhh...I almost said cute... :rotfl2: )

I had originallly heard the Disney Crocs would be out in Oct. Hopefully November means early as we are leaving Nov. 2. I'll just have to buy them there, I guess.

I agree that the colors may represent the "other styles". Hate that, because I would love to have a pair with Donald Duck on them!!

Check out this website: www.nofeargear.com They have pics of kids and adults.

Can't wait..... :Pinkbounc

I checked with a local store, and Disney crocs will ship on Nov. 15, so start looking for them in stores after that. If you pre-order from nofeargear, they will also ship that day. I am so thrilled that I will be able to buy them locally, the owner of the store was excited too and confirmed they are definitely getting them.

As far as I know, the "themes" are just referring to the color of the shoe. Red/black is mickey, pink/pearl is princess, blue/green is toy story, etc. There is supposed to be an expanded line coming out in the sping, so maybe there will be other cut out shapes then, but I can't wait that long! I'm getting myself a pink pair for my b-day!
