Wow, see what a little searching will do? I've been lurking forever, but just now found this board! :blush:

I'm Brandi. Hubby is active duty Army, currently in Iraq for the second time. We have 2 kiddos. We're stationed at Fort Hood. :banana:

We're going on a 7 day land/sea cruise (3 days land, 4 days sea) in February, and we can't wait! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello, :wave: and that I'm glad I found the board.

I just found this board tonight, too. We received notice yesterday that DH is to report to Springfield for in-processing (shots, power of attorney, will, etc.) on Tuesday -- deployment in January is what they're "thinking", but we don't have any orders yet. Here's to hoping we can still have our family trip to Disney before he leaves.

There's concern, yes, but we're taking it a day at a time....he's been in-processed before without deployment (and he's been in for 26 years without activation, so we've been blessed thus far).

My Dh is AD too and we are at Fort Hood...DH is currently deployed to Iraq. We were married at Disney and had a cruise as our disneymoon! We were living on post till about 2 weeks ago, we finally closed on our new house in Copperas Cove.

Wow, Small world! It must have been amazing to get married at disney. I'm trying to talk hubby into a vow renewal on the cruise for our 20th anniversary (9 years away).

I love cove! We're probably going to pcs early next year though, or at least get orders. We've been here 4 years though, so it's time.
