Leaving Today! A few Shout Outs!

We are leaving at 5:00pm today for 10 days in WDW and we are so excited! :banana: My DW is at work, so I'm doing the 'check, re-check, check again and I know I'm forgetting something' routine. NO, I DO NOT HAVE O.C.D., well maybe alittle but don't tell anyone! :thumbsup2

It's funny, I feel like I've had a few hundred people help us pack and get ready for this trip! I'd be willing to bet that any one of you could guess the contence of our luggage! :lmao: Glendamax, Utahmoma, stinkerbell's mom, LisaDKG...YOU GUY'S ARE CRAZY! :hyper: Because of you guys I had to have 'LGMHPC' from HD, gallon size freezer bags to pack clothes in, mousekeeping tip evnvelopes decorated by my kids, Bodyglide, crocs, Glowbracelets...and I'm pretty sure I'll get beat up this trip because some 'control nut' thinks I'm hitting on his girl and all I was doing was the 'Focker' thing because she was wearing LIME GREEN!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:I'm sure you can fill in the blanks for everything I'm forgetting...

Yes...I even down loaded the 'Yeti' game from Disney to beat the game and got my certificate for the free after ride photo from 'EE'. My family thinks I'm nuts...I'm a man! I'm not supposed to be doing this kind of stuff! I feel like I've lost my dignity somewhere in all this...but I love the DIS! :woohoo:

BTW...if your the lurker from my wifes work at SCDJFS...you know who you are...tell my DW you found Gabkatt she''ll be thrilled... well maybe thrilled is to strong...she'll probably get mad that I took this much time from packing! :rotfl2: p.s., Why haven't you registered yet? :scratchin WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?! Alright, just kidding...but I'm watching you!

Seriously, thanks for everyones advice and insight! Even though we are Disney Veterans, I've learned so much more here. It's good to know there are so many Disney Fanatics out there! How many of you take the time to do a 'trip report'? I'm considering doing one when we get back. So, again thanks everyone! and we'll see ya on the flip-side!

Hey, that's not fair!!! I do all the planning and packing! My DH doesn't even know what he'll be wearing until he gets there!! I tell him when we will be going and for how long and that's all he's interested in. On the other hand, I find it even scarier to think of what he would pack for us (me) to wear... :rotfl: I hope you and your family have a wonderful time!! :wave:

OK Gabkatt I found you...and yes after 8 months I broke down and registered. This place is soooo addicting. I feel bad for your DW since I am the one that told her about the DIS!!!! By now you should be on the road but if not...HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

The trip report and updates are coming, but its going to be awhile. :confused3 Two days before we left, my DW was loading film in our camera and realized something wasn't right. When you look through the view finder all you see is black. She changed the lenses and the battery but no luck. We tried to get it repaired and were told it was the aperture and would cost several hundred $$$. The camera was $700 when we got it so it didn't seem worth it. Needless to say we had to replace the camera and we had to do it now. I did some last second research and we purchased our first digital camera!

I'm telling you all this to say that my DW armed with her new toy and a 2gig memory card took about 450 pictures not to mention 70 some 'Photopass' pictures! :hyper: Its going to take me a little while to put it all together and have the time to start writing. So keep an eye out, I will try to get my first page going next week! :thumbsup2

Only 450 photos?

I got home from our trip, and plugged my ipod into my computer (I was storing my photos on my ipod) and it flashed up that I had over 3000 photos to transfer, That took awhile. There were a few duplicates.

This was 3 months ago, and I still haven't gotten my scrapbooks even started.
