Some one told me the pizza has gone down hill and to avoid at all cost....Has it gotten that bad?It was one of those things we allway's did...you know a tradition......

I've tried it twice recently -- both time we were very disappointed! The crust seems like the pre-made frozen kind, and the sauce did not have much taste. :(

Boy that's sad because we liked sitting at the tavern and eating pizza and haveing a cold one at nite....
I gotta agree with Rhonda. We tried it this past August, and it was terrible!!! Worse than a quaility frozen brand of pizza. They really need to improve on it. We would like to grab a pizza on some of those nights after a really LOOOOOONG day in the parks....Oh well, maybe they will change it before our next trip... ::yes::

That's it. Yup. You caught us. It's all a conspiracy to keep all the FW Pizza to ourselves!!! :rotfl: ;)

A long time a go Friday night was pizza night at Trails End and you could build your own pizza from cups of topping. The pizza was really good. But now the Raccoons won’t eat it.

I never got to try the pizza in the good old days, but now it is pretty gross. Our 6 year old loves it but what does she know--she'll drink grape koolaid (yuck!) However, if you first had a couple of beers while rocking on the porch it might not be soooo bad.
Man, I wish I were rocking on that porch right now. We are having cooler temps tonight (might get in the upper 60's) and there is a lovely breeze!

cooler ? upper 60's tonight ? thats more like a daytime high around here.
seriously.... I would rather eat mediocre pizza on the front porch of Crocketts than do pretty much anything else, although it would be nice if they could get a really good pizza there, they are convenient to take back to the site or grab the cooler and watch all the tourists get off of the MK boats :thumbsup2

We now make our own pizza that the campsite. We buy pre made crust bring our tipping and cook it on the grill. Sit outside play with the dog 1-6 beers later it’s pizza time. If you cook it outside your RV stays cool. :thumbsup2

We went in January and it was horrible. I even mentioned it in our Disney "survey" they sent after the trip.

It has always been a tradition for us as well. The first night we always get pizza. This past April it was terrible. Not even close to what is used to be. I complained about it then and I too, put it in my survey that we got after the trip. The chicken is still good though!

Sounds like a supplier got outbidded for the contract for this and they went with the new one. Too bad they didn't really compare the products if this is what they did. Nothing can compensate for a bad pizza once it's cooked.

We use to make anight of it in the past also but our last trip back in June was terrible. I would have preferred a frozen one from the store. Hopefully it was just a fluke but I am not sure. The breakfast buffet was still great though!

We had it in May. Its not great. I did not think that it was horrible. My expectations were not high though. I would get another one. It makes it easy the first day after setting up camp. I don't have to cook or go into a restraunt when I just want to relax. It is a trade off.

We went in July and thought the pizza was pretty good. We have made a tradition out of it. My DD colors the pizza box and then I cut it up and make a puzzle out of it.

Pizza preferences are funny and tend to be regional. At the risk of being flamed, I heard throughout college about how great New York style pizza was and couldn't wait to try some. I thought it was the worst tasting slop I ever ate. Personally, I thought FW pizza was fine. Not the best I've had, but I don't think it deserves the bad reviews it has gotten. We'll get it again this trip and probably be fine with it.
