US and IOA in 1 day

We are going next week to WDW and have 1 day to go visit IOA. Due to the new special ($85 for both parks), we thought about just hitting the highlights at both parks. We have never been to Universal Studios because my husband and I have always thought there was not enough there for us to do to pay for a full price ticket (hate motion rides...). I would pay the extra $20 to go... but is it capable of doing in 1 day?

PS. I would buy the Express pass if needed.... How busy would it be next week?!?!?!?!?!

As the parks are right next to each other and walking distance yes you could probably do both parks on the same day, you may not get to see everything but it's well worth a try.

I would make sure you get there for park opening, and if you simply must get on certain rides go for your preferred park first.

Crowds shouldn't be too bad at all either.
