Hi all!

I need your collective wisdom.... :teacher:

Hunting around for the best deal on a 1Gb XD memory card for my friend (I use SD), so far I've found a Sandisk for £22 (free shipping).

Does anyone know of a better price and/or card - it seems i can only find custom-branded ones, fuji, olympus, and sandisk?

Also, am I right in thinking (well, assuming :teeth: ) the sandisk would be better than the fuji or olympus?

And lastly, it has to be a UK store - as we're going away in 10 days i can't take the chance of airmail from the US!!!!

Cheers! :thumbsup2

Sorry dumb question, is XD and SD the same? Use CF cards so don't know much about others. Anyway, you could try 7 day shop (http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cat=6&type=6060&man=0&filterwords=&go=SEARCH&comp=) or My memory (http://www.mymemory.co.uk/xD-Card) have used both and they are good, not sure how competitive though.

I've looked at both of those, and neither are offering the Sandisk card for a good price sadly!

SD and XD are two different formats.

So far, Amazon has come up best at £22 for a 1Gb Sandisk
