Def Leppard in Orlando - My October trip is now perfect!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATED!

I have just checked the Def Leppard site (as I do nearly every day!!!) and see that they are playing in TD Waterhouse Centre on 5 November this year. I just can't believe it!!!! We will be in Florida over that date, and I just have to see them. They are my number one, all time favourite band, (check my sig for their pic!!) and I haven't seen them since October 2003 when they played in Edinburgh. I just can't believe that I will actually be able to see my number one band in my number one destination!!!!!! I was very excited about my holiday, and now this has just made me extra, extra excited. Just checked their website and they are playing in Atlanta on Nov 4, in Phillips Arena!!!! The tickets go on sale for that gig on Sept 30 also. Maybe you'll get to see them after all!!!!! :thumbsup2

Rest assured, if she isn't sitting with her hand hovering over the phone, or hunched over the computer keyboard at the exact second those tickets go on sale, she'll have me doing it instead! There's nothing on this Earth that's gonna stop her going to that gig! This thread brings back memories of our first trip ['88 - our honeymoon]. I read in a freesheet that Great White, Ratt and Kix were playing at the Lakeland? Arena.

I remember asking at the hotel desk how far away this place was and they said about 1 hour drive...I would have done it too, but for the small fact that we didn't have a car that time. :sad2:

I saw Def Leppard in Las Vegas in 2002 - absolutely brilliant concert, made all the more special as it was our first concert over in USA. Have a great time (wish I was going!) :hippie:

Just a by the way...did you know that they played their first ever 'paying' gig at my school in the main hall. The whole building gets demolished at Xmas taking along with it a little piece of rock history.

Just wondered what time exactly are you going to try for tickets. It says on sale 09:30 on the site now so would that be 5 hours behind us say- 14:30 tomorrow. I rearly want to get tickets and don't want to mess this up. I'm more nervous about this than when i rang for CRT ;)

The 09:30 you're seeing on the site is actually the date, Sept 30th. The start time is 10 am EDT, which I think is 3pm our time. Will be checking in at 10am our time just in case!
