Today, our school was reorganized (after a meeting on Friday). The teacher next door is now a special ed. teacher, so her class had to be split up into others. Some went into Mr.Paterson's homeroom (my class) and others to Ms.Downey. The teacher said that there would be a split homeroom, of grade sevens and eights. Only eight out of about 60 grave sevens would go there because the teacher wanted bright, talented and independent students who could follow along.

Lyke whoa. The teachers chose me as one of them. Four girls and four boys, that I all know, are there. :teeth: We don't learn what grade eights do, but we are in the same homeroom so we can hear and see what they are learning and do similar (if not the same) activities. Compared to our other class, I feel like they are just grade sevens that are smarter. It's a well behaved class too. Nicole and Madison, two other girls, are really close with me so it's great to be in the same class. I've known Nicole since third grade and Madison since Senior Kindergarten. People from Mr.Paterson's class says it's horrible without Steven and I (the boy from my class who was also chosen). My friends, Michelle and Kim just sat there at lunch (Michelle told me :P ). I was a bit glad to leave. I'm with friends, I get special attention when the teacher is only teaching eight of us grade sevens at a time, and there isn't really any conflicts between all of us.

ZOMGNESS! I feel so special. Just wanted to share mah happiness.
Our schedules will be given to us tomorrow, if possible. :)

:goodvibes That's great. Our homerooms got split too, and I am in the "advanced" class. I like that our class is so small (8 students) because it's quieter and like you I am with my BFF.

I'm glad things are working well :)

I've been in the gifted and talented program since third grade, but our classes never split like that! I'm apparently the smartest in my grade and last year the teachers wanted me to skip a grade and move up. I said no, I love my friends! but congrats milka!

awesome!!!! and congrats on the class!!! my goal is to find another crazed disney fan and get them to join the boards............... however, my bff has strict parents who won't let her use the computer..............

so tell me: is your class like honors???? (i'm guessing not because honors 7th grade uses the 8th grade cirriculum, and you said that you aren't using 8th grade materials.............)

oh, random but, you have all your classes with your 2 friends, correct??? i have all my classes with 2 annoying boys who are very smart (well duh i guess- we're in honors), but they are annoying and i'm already earned the name watermelon girl around them (what can i say- i wear trendy clothes..........)................ then again, they gave me a name cause i gave them names........................................... let the randomness continue!!!! lol, jk, and sorry to get OT!
