I was in the same situation lasy year Carol. One of my friends was expecting hir first, I got a beautiful bear from the Toy Store at Downtown Disney, he was lovely and soft and snuggly, wearing a T Shirst saying My First Disney Bear, I also got a tree ornament - bit of a dilemma *** we didn't know if it was a boy or girl, so we couldn't get the pink minnie or blue mickey one, we found a lovely one in the Christmas shop which was silver so neutral in colour with Dumbo on top - it has babys first christmas on it, we also got loads of nice clothes from the outlet stores ....

It's a very popular choice :) Joseph has 3 :teeth:

What about some bib's? We have a lovely Stitch bib and Mickey Mouse bib and as well as being very Disney they are also extremely useful :thumbsup2:

Thanks for these ideas, as you can see from my siggy, there's a baby due here (Scott's sister's) too so we're gonna be looking for baby stuff at WDW. Love the sound of the Dumbo ornament.

AT DLRP they had these beautiful soft velour comfort blankets with a charcter attached. There was Mickey, Minnie, Tigger, Dumbo and others too. I don't know whether they'd have them in WDW but comforters are a great present for a new baby, I sell loads on my site (non-Disney). The Disney ones are a cross between a comfort blanket and cuddly - so cute and really lovely quality.

There's usually some great designer baby gear from wraps/blankets, shawls etc, to outfits at the Ralp Lauren store in Premium Outlets too.

Often they do items of cuttlery, bowls etc for babies, wonder if they do the mugs with the lids for sipping from??

My sisters baby is due 7 days after we come home- i've told her to keep her legs crossed if it wants to come before- i don't want to miss it :rotfl:

Thanks for some great ideas. I think i might need an extra case for all the things i will want to bring her. :)
