Is Clarion Universal Hotel okay?

I got a great rate for 5 nights the the Clarion Univeral Hotel. Two adults, no kids. We didn't want to spend too much on a room as we don't plan on being there too much, but we don't want to stay in a dive either. Anyone have any comments on this hotel?

The hotels you find on this boards are definitely not roach motels. They've been given Pete Werner's seal of approval. I haven't heard anything bad about the Clarion either.

We stayed there one night. We decided to arrive one day before our HRH reservations and DU was able ot get us a great rate. We checked in late and checked out early so we didn't really get to look around. The room however was very nice.
