We just had a great stay there.
There was a pack n play, an umbrella stroller and a high chair. And now, thanks to my dd who made a 1.5" hole into the mesh of a bedrail, there is also a bedrail available at the house. (Donīt worry, I bought an exact bedrail and left it for the abbf people, since I wouldnīt give back a damaged item, but it works perfect for anybody who would neet it).

This house looks great! Too bad Storytime 1,2 and 3 are all reserved for our trip next year.

Was everything clean upon arrival?

Yes, it was clean when we arrived, with the table set for dinner, the beds made, towels in the bathrooms, etc.
We were very happy in the house, and it is truly a 3 minute walk to the clubhouse, so it has a great location withing the resort.
Also we used the Sherbeth Road shortcut and it worked great for us.

Great to hear from someone who has stayed at ST 1. We are staying at ST2 in March. Was it a pain to find the keys at villadirect? I wish they had a lockbox at WH. How long from MCO to Villadirect? I am so glad you were happy with the accomodations! It looks great on the website!

We love Windsor Hills! We always try for the storytime (we live in Florida and go 4 or 5 times a year) but they are always booked. Our favorites are the townhomes. Our kids are 5 and 2 so the small pool is perfect when if someone is napping and we want to swim. I'm glad to hear the storytimes are also nice.

We were driving from Port Canaveral, we debarked at about 7:35, picked our luggage, went through customs, got to our car in the parking lot across the street and drove to Villa Direct the long way (we didnīt do the directions from the airport, instead we took the Beeline express and I-4), and were at Villa Direct at 9 exactly, and my dh didnīt go above the speed limit once.
So I will say it was really easy to find the Villa Direct office.
Check in took like 3 minutes or less, and they are located like 4 miles away, about 10 minutes or maybe even less.
We took the Sherbeth Rd shorcut to get to the parks and it was awesome. It was like 5 minutes do Disney property and then a longer time there to get to the parks, especially MK, but AK was like 3 more minutes only.
And the check out was even easier, just drop the keys at Villa Direct.

Did you check in at 9 am ? Or was that 9 pm ?
How did you get the directions to go the back to Disney ? Is it easy to find from SS 1 ?
thanks

Yup, we checked in at 9 am, since the house had not been occupied the previous night, so they let us do an early check in.
I am sorry, English is not my first language, so I donīt understand the questiong about getting to Disney. Do you mean how did we hear about the shortcut?
Please clarify this to me and I will get back with the answer.

Yes, I'm sorry. I probably wasn't clear with my question. I was wondering HOW you knew there was a back road. I think I've read that one other place. Not sure where. I'd like to know since we are staying at Storytime 1 in December. I know the roads will probably be crowded. I'm hoping the shortcut will save us some time.
Thanks again !

There's a Sherbeth road shortcut from Windsor Palms that I've read a bunch about on various message boards.
The Storytime townhomes must be popular. I was just on the website and they're adding a 4th!

I heard about the shortcut here in the Disboards, though I had not understood how to get there, but we were driving on the 192 when I saw the sign to Sherbeth Road and that was it.
It is really very easy, you go out of Windsor Hills and turn left on Old Lake Wilson Road, this goes to Irlo Bronson aka 192, when you get to the light you will turn left, and the first light is Sherbeth Road, you go there, it is a 2 way street full of curves, and suddenly you are inside the Disney roads and can see the top of AKL on your left.
I guess Sherbeth Road is one of the corners of the Disney property, since it is quite a drive to Magic Kingdom, but you wonīt be caught in the construction traffic on 192, only on Disney traffic. I think we had 2 light stops inside the Disney roads.
Someone mentioned to be careful when following the signs back to Sherbeth road, you must follow the AKL signs, otherwise you will end in the AK parking lot. I am proud to say that this did not happen to us, but I had been properly forewarned. Dh was really impressed ;)
We really liked Story Time 1.

We are staying in StoryTime 2 in 13 days and have a quick question. On the slash pool deck, is there enough seating for 7? WE have 5 adults and two kids, and even 5 chairs would be nice. In the picture, all you see is a 2 sea bistro set.
Anyone confirm?
Thanks

If you can remove the security screen (we never tried to, but it might be posible) then you can sit that many people, just not around the table. 5 might be doable around de table, 7 definetly not posible around, but posible in a line.
What I donīt know is which chairs could you use. At least in Story Time 1 we wouldnīt have taken out the dinning room chairs.
So I wouldnīt consider it possible unles you have some sort of plastic or folding chairs.
