View Full Version : Booking AAA Room Only RAte?

Can I make my own ressie with CRO and receive my AAA room only rate, or do I have to use my AAA TA?

I want to be able to make my own changes and updates later if needed.

You can call CRO and make a room only AAA ressie yourself, but you must go ahead and give them your number. I've done this twice now. It does depend on availability, though, because they supposedly only have so many rooms that are eligible for the discount from what they've told me. :goodvibes

You definitely can!!! Just call and ask for the rate. If its available you'll get it and if it's not, keep calling back...really, this works! Sometimes they will ask for your AAA number, sometimes they won't. I called for the rate and didn't have my card handy and was told to just make sure I had it at checkin. There have also been several times when they would not take the reservation without the number. :)

Going to add onto this thread rather than make my own but ..
When calling compared to checking online (in regards to rates in general) .. They have the same rooms available as available online no? (ie: if there was no rooms avail @ Contemp for a stay, could we call and hope they would see something the website doesnt)

No, unfortunately what you see is what you get. I ran into this recently trying to book a stay at the Contemporary. Disney's site was down, so I called AAA to have them book the stay (thinking that they have some special "block" that doesn't show up online) and she put me on hold, called Disney and came back to tell me that there is nothing available. The next day I called myself to Disney, and the CM told me that what is online is what's available, so I wound up changing my dates because I didn't want to pay extra for a tower room.
