Last full day today fly home tommorrow, so up really early and get across to magic kingdom. Just in time for opening or so we think put our tickets into the turnstyle and access denied? go across to guest services and guess what we cant count we have used all 21 days.buy a one day admission this was really expensive. and finally enter the park but to late for rope drop etc boys gutted
all a bit tired but see the funny side kind of sums up this holiday really.
Have a horse and carriage ride down main st this was lovely.Head straight to Splash and no wait so I finally pluck up the courage to ride and I love it made everbody get a fp so we can ride again.BTMRR next followed by splash and country bear Jamboree. Haunted mansion and peter pan next WE have lunch at liberty tree tavern we usually have a character dinner here on our last day but was booked this year so this ws the next best think food was lovely.

Over to pirates and watch the pirates tutorial Kieran is picked out of the Audience to have a sword fight with captain jack this makes his year he is on cloud nine for the rest of the day. :cloud9:

This was one of those truly only at disney magical moments something I will remember for a long time the look on Kieran's face was priceless. All the children are given a certifacate to say they are trainee pirates under the protection of Jack sparrow. So we ride pirates after all the excitement and then philarmagic.

We head over to the indy car speedway but they are closed due to lightning ride the TTA and then carousel of progress. winnie the pooh and stitch follow.
across to pirates again and then BTmrr and splash I want to ride again but the boys win and we go on indy car speedway.
We find a place on main street and watch spectromagic then head up to the train station for wishes buy some popcorn for the boys all very tearful at this point cant belive we are going home tommorow.
we work out we have spent 13 hours today in Mk back to the villa and collapse into bed. This was a truly wonderful day!!

I'm so pleased that you were brave enough for Splash, Rachel, it's so great, isn't it? My favourite part is the drop in the dark. Sounds like a perfect day, with the exception of having to buy tickets, but at least it sounds like you got your money's worth!

What a fabulous last day and how cool for Kieran to be picked! pirate: I have loved your reports - especially the way you were able to stay longer than planned! I'm definitely storing that piece of info for future reference... :thumbsup2

Well done on riding Splash Mountain, so maybe next time you'll ride RnRc - LOL
It sounds like you had a great last day and I would've loved to have been picked to do the Pirate Tutorial too :)

What a lovely day. We didn't get to meet Jack Sparrow, he looks very close to Johnny from your photos.

I love Splash Mountain and even have the soundtrack on my Ipod! We hadn't been on the Indy Speedway for quite a while but the youngest wanted to go on it this year - he was 15 at the time - and you know he loved it and declared it his favourite ride there. The oldest - 17 at the time - had just passed his driving test and was looking for all the pedals when he got in it, by the time he had sussed out there was only one his brother had sped away much to his dismay.

We always do Magic Kingdom on the last day but go in the evening. We watch the fireworks with the castle and then get the ferry back. Last year we felt quite sad not knowing we were going back this year as we left but this year was okay because we had already book up for next. What a terrible (and expensive) addiction Orlando is.

Rachel I feel so awful for you and the things you have had to endure this trip...did you ever get the villa situation sorted? I really hope you were able to get some reimbursement for the medicines since the ear infection might have been caused by the pool issue....glad to see you trip ended up on a good note
