My family will be visting France later this month and we are renting a car.

What is the parking situation at DLP? Are there dedicated lots for DLP, Disney Studios, and Disney Village?

I was wondering about parking to go to the Disney Village. I think I read somewhere that the daily parking fee for DLP is 8-10 euros per day.

Do I have to pay to park when I just visit the Disney Village, Movie Theater, Shops, Restaurants? Or is the pay lot only for visits to DLP or Disney Studios. My only other experience is at WDW in Florida. There you pay for parking at the parks but not at any of the resorts or Downtown Disney. Any help?

Also, we are staying at the Marriott Resort nearby to DLP and plan on taking the RER to Paris. What is the best parking option at the train stations, either at the Disney Stop or at Val d' Europe? Is there a fee? Is parking available or are we better off taking a shuttle or taxi?

Any help would be appreciated

There are two parking lots. One is for both the Disneyland Park and Disney Studios and I think it costs 8 euros. The other is for the Disney Village and costs 10 euros (I think!) The reason that the parking isn't free for Disney Village, unlike Downtown Disney at WDW, is because it would be inundated with people using it while they visiting the parks instead!!!

There are no free options unfortunately.

Thanks for the update. I was not sure how close everything was to one another.

Where I park if I wanted to take the RER to Paris? At DLP / Studios? at Disney Village? Someplace else?

Are you staying on-site or at one of the partner hotels in Val d'Europe?

Thanks for the reply. I am staying at the Marriott Village.

What is the best parking option for taking the RER to Paris from there?

I would think it was easier and cheaper to try to park in Val de France the next stop in on that line.
The only other thing is if you have Ap's you could park for free.
How many days are you going for if you add the free parking it might work out cheaper?

I vote for village parking for visiting the parks even though its more expensive its closer to the parks. Believe me the walk from the car park to the parks is miles.

How true. At DLP, the entrances to Disneyland, Disney Studios, Disney Village and the train station are all within a very short walking distance of eachother.

Although we had a rental car when we stayed at the Marriott, another option is to use the resort's shuttle to DLP and the train station.

In the morning, the queues for RER tickets can be long. We try to buy our tickets a day or two in advance.

We used our car for daytrips to visit Reims and Epernay (in the Champagne region), and Chateau de Fontainebleau and Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte. Breathtaking!
