Hello everyone, I'm hoping that you can help me please.

We - me, hubby and 2 boys - were due to fly into CDG on Sunday morning for a family holiday staying at Sequoia Lodge. Unfortunately I've just been told by the doctor I can't fly and my husband has to take the children alone otherwise we lose the holiday as insurance doesn't cover my illness.

He's a very nervous, first time flyer who has never been through an airport. So could anyone who has been through CDG recently give me any instructions on getting off the plane at terminal 2F and getting on the VEA to Disney.

I'm sure it's well signposted and he'll manage fine but I think having some idea where he's going in advance would boost his confidence.

many thanks

You poor thing - what a shame. :(

I can't give you personal advice, but I can tell you what I know on paper!

Here (http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/Adp/Resources/894313b3-1923-4bc6-906c-ba0e8375f2b4-cdg2ef.pdf) is a plan of T2 E/F. According to the VEA (http://www.vea.fr/uk/infos-horaires.asp) site, the shuttle goes from Gate 5 of the Gallery - Level 0, exit 0.09 So I presume it goes from the bit in the middle of the plan marked La Galerie, where the Roissy Bus and Les Cars Air France also go from.

Hopefully somebody will correct me if this isn't right.

Welcome to the DIS mamabee

So sorry to hear about your illness. Nothing serious, I hope

Your husband will manage fine. He can find all info he needs here:

http://www.vea.fr/uk/infos-horaires.asp

If landing at terminal 2F, he has to find Gate 5 of the Gallery - Level 0, exit 0.09.

Hi mamabee and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here (http://www.wdwinfo.com/guidelines.htm) and details regarding help on signatures here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=976007)

I'm sure he will be fine. There are lots of signs pointing to the exits after baggage reclaim and then to shuttle :)

Oh thank you so much for such a quick reply - that helps loads :)

I'm gutted that I can't go but I'm hoping the boys will have a ball regardless.

There's a wonderfull lot of information on this board - thanks again

Hi Mamabee

I know you said you couldn't fly, but is there any chance you could get a last minute euro star return, you could meet hubby and the kids there. Just a suggestion :)
