Can anyone confirm snack credit use at waterparks?

I know there are 5 places listed at the two parks for CS meals (Avalunch/Leaning Palms, etc) but wanted to double check you could use snack credits there for ice cream treats. (As oppose to just being able to get ice cream as your dessert as part of CS credit.) Thanks.

Most of the carts at the parks had DDP signs next to their snacks. I never really looked at the carts to see if if was ice cream or not. I know the sodas and waters counted because that is the snack we got at the water parks.

I know for certain a Swirl Cup of Ice Cream and Frozen Lemonade are available at Lattawatta Lodge, BB, as snacks.

I know this isn't exactly what you wanted to know, but I am pretty sure you can get your CS dessert (like ice cream) later so it doesn't melt. Just mentioning it. :)

Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to use snack credits last month for those tasty little mini donuts. Of course, we bought a dozen anyway.

We got smoothies when we went to Typhoon Lagoon- I think it was at surf shack- they were yummy- they had pinapple orange and strawberry banna I think-

the donuts I don't think are included as they are over $4.00

Just back and the doughnuts and the cookies were not snack credits. Also many of the carts that are along the walkways have signs up that say that room charges/DDP charges are not accepted at this time BUT the main places took the DDP.

Many of the snack carts - such as the mini donut place - are not owned by disney. That is why you can't use room charge/DDP/other dining plans there. We found this out the hard way when we tried to use the disney gift card there. A food service manager was nice enough to explain it to us and got us some donuts for free (we wanted to pay but only had the gift card and room key with us - he wouldn't even let us buy something in the gift shop and return it for cash so we could pay).

OMG - I saw some kid with the most delicious waffle ice cream cone that he got with a snack credit at TL. I tried to talk my son into getting one, but he wanted to wait for chocolate cake back at the resort. Go figure! :confused3
