Okay, I think I have come to terms with this....I think I will try Splash Mountain during DIS-Con. :D

Now RnR and ToT.......doubtful........very, very doubtful! :eek:

Tia, not that I want to intimidate you.. but let the weather rule your decision of when you ride Splash.. Everytime I have been on, I have gotten soaked.. That is ok, if the weather is warm, but if it is cold, you will have to plan accordingly, like have a poncho with you for the ride or a change of clothes. JMO..

Well, dearest ... ya see, Barb and I have this little pact about you, Splash, and TOT. And you really don't get soaked like you do on Dudley Do-Right at IOA. You may get a little "moist" is all...depending on the seat you get, of course..... :D

This is going to be so much fun! Riding Splash with Steve, Glo and Tia! Tia, I'll let you wear my poncho if you're worried about getting wet. There have been only a few rare times where I got wetter than I wanted to on SM. Most times you only get mildly splashed. The themeing of this ride is incredible. It is truly one of Disney's best. This is going to be so much fun! Howling Steve, wild Glo, nervous Tia and ME!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I have to tell you all that even though we have some amazing special things to do within the convention (Fantasmic, Illuminations, Dessert parties), the highlight of this trip is riding all these great rides with my DIS friends. I am so looking forward to sharing these rides with all of you! :) :) How cool will it be to have a boat load of DIS friends riding all at the same time? For that matter, we'll probably have multiple boats going at the same time!!!! I agree with Ray, I'm planning on buying ride pictures, too! I need to have a great souvenier of this trip!!! :D :D :D

Barb, I have to tell you......even with all of these wonderful events (Fantasmic, Illuminations, etc.) the things I am most-looking forward to doing are the rides too!!! I think it will be a blast to ride some of the Disney rides with my DIS friends. :) :) :) I can't wait. :bounce:

I love Splash Mt.!!!!

We rode last year during a very cold night at MVMCP, and hardly got wet at all. Even my DH, who HATES to get wet, is willing to ride Splash with me.

The real question is.....how will you pose for your picture as you come down the hill? :D

EVERYONE was wondering why they had shut down the operation ... and it was because my "pal", Ms. Glo was basically OUT of the car... scooping up BUCKETS of water with her hands and throwing at poor old SideshowBob... !!! Even poor Mr. & Mrs. Milo were caught up in the crossfire!!

My 5 yo son's favorite rides are: Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Blue Thunder Mountain and ToT. Not tall enough for RnR, but will be next year. He's looking forward to turning 6 and growing 2-3 inches. :)
