what time are you allowed into the park for the very merry Christmas party? i know the times are 7-12, but i have read that people were let in as early as 3:30 and 4:00. does anyone know?

They let you in at 4 with your party ticket. Before we had APs, we waited till then so we wouldn't be using a day off our passes.

I have also heard they let you in at 4. This will be our first MVMCP. We have ressies for 6pm at Tony's. We plan to arrive at the MK at 5pm.

In recent years they have been letting people in exactly at 4. Now, they could always change the policy this year and enforce the 7pm starting time, but there's no reason to believe they will do so, especially since they let people with just party tickets make ADR's for anytime after 4pm.

I've also read that they have changed the closing time from 6pm to 7pm for the day guests. It will be interesting to see how they get all of the day guests out of the park. I.e. If you paid for MVMCP, someone without a ticket may be lurking around taking up space for the 7pm parade.

We're going on 11/13 and I will be waiting eagerly for the reports as to how this new change works out.

I think we need to wait and see how it is handled for this year's MNSSHP. Things could be different this year since they are not closing the park bewfore the start of the party.

We should know soon - the first MNSSHP is Sept 15.

And if it's the nightmare I am afraid it's going to be my MVMCP ticket won't be purchased...
