I have to say it took courage to post that before photo… It is also reassuring to know that other kids sometimes destroy their bedrooms as much as mine have (I have 2 neat kids and 2 messy kids) - so do you make house calls with your room cleaning service? My Mom is coming for Thanksgiving and I have let things slide a bit b/c I’ve been so busy working on the convention so if your in the neighborhood I could really use an extra set of hands or shovel – do you do windows? LOL…

WOW! Tia, great job! That's how I have to clean my son's room. (age 18!) It's a disaster area from top to bottom! I get in there and tear it all apart and clean corner to corner. Of course, he hates it that way! LOL And, within 24 hours, it's a disaster area again. It just happens. I have to clean his room every once in a while, because I forget what color the carpet is!!!!!!!!!

That before picture kinda reminds me of my office when I had the pins everywhere. It also brought back memories of my childhood. I was the messiest person in the world or at least I thought I was. My father finally just gave up and closed the door. Now I am just clutter neat.

What I dread is what will the house look like when I come back after a week away.

Tammy, I've already tackled that daunting nightmare ('what will my house look like when I return?')....I hired someone to come in and clean it the day before I return. :D :D :D

DH is pleased as well, 'cause now the pressure is off of HIM! :D

I drove down to my moms a few weeks back to help her pack for a move. While packing my kid sisters room I found a family of MICE (they live out in the country)... 1 mama and 8 babies. The worst part is my sister wanted to KEEP them. YUCK!
