Yes. Were told anything from the sushi menu can be ordered as an appetizer.

The bottled water is not included in the DDP so be careful. I think our 1 bottle of water was close to $7!!!!

Yes! Dd and I split the snake in the grass it last month. We loved CG so much we returned a few days later and shared the Spicy Sensation sushi as our appetizer at it was hands down ou favorite sushi anywhere!

Just wondering if the sushi is still on the dinning plan or you have to pay out of pocket for it at the C.G..
I have had their sushi before and loved it ... I would gladly pay out of pocket for it when we go in December 2007 but we will be on the dinning plan so if it is covered I would like to know.
At Wolfgang Pucks I know that you can order the sushi but only as your main course not as a starter.
Thanks for any information,
Bronte

I happen to have heard something about that...
I think they no longer include the snake in the grass or Yoshi's deluxe platter as an appetizer. I think you could get them as an entree. As far as I know the other sushi dishes are available as appetizers.

From the 2007 DDP Sticky:
• California Grill - Yoshi's Deluxe Sushi Platter is considered an entree. Aubriee reports that Snake in the Grass is excluded from the Dining Plan.
I may have read an update post that stated Yoshi was off DDP completely.

In July Yoshi's and Snake in the Grass were considered entrees and all others could be appetizers.
