Anyone else surprised by MVMCP tickets???

Received MVMCP tickets in the mail today!!!!! I was surprised by the theme. They came on “happiest celebration on earth” tickets with ride names and photos on them. One was Soarin, EE, Action motor cars how, and Cinderella-bration. I was surprised they came this way since the HCOE will be over by then. I also expected them to have a Christmas theme, since they are after all for the Christmas party. Has anyone else received their tickets and been surprised by this???

I do have to agree..I thought they would be some kind of festive decor on them or something--not just the name of a ride. Seemed kinda silly and a bit of a letdown.

We got ours about a week ago. I was actually impressed that they were laminated plastic and not paper. The ones you buy at the gate are paper. They just seemed suprisingly official! :goodvibes

Had ours for a while now . 2HCOE and a soarin one.

But did get my MNSSHP tickets in today and ave another Soarin and 2 Everest ones.

Yes, received mine yesterday and liked the laminated ticket..... I was pretty excited about getting it! Whoo Hoo - MVHCP!

Well we got our MNSSHP tickets a while back and I was very disappointed. I like to use tickets and stuff for scrapbooking and the tickets I got were exactly like the park tickets we got last year!!! I thought they'd at least have something about Halloween on them!

Must say that I was disapointed, just didn't know what to expect. Besure to check your tix carefully. I ordered 4 x adult passes and received 2 x adult + 2x child. Had to send the 2x kids back and then they sent the proper ones to me. See you there Dec 5th. :thumbsup2

Well I received my Halloween tix a couple of weeks ago and I was so excited, but they dont have a halloween theme ... But I am so excited to go

I've gone to several MVMCP and MNSSHP events over the years (since '98) and they've never had anything special on them. It would make a nicer souvenier if they did have Halloween or Christmas theme, but I've always gotten just regular tickets over the years.

Sorry but they never use "special tickets" for the parties. Our MVMCP tickets from 2004 say WDW and have Mickey and Goofy on them. No Christmas theme at all.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed as well. I had expected something a little more festive.

Still, I'm just happy to be going. :)
