Brown Derby on the 28th at 3:30 p.m., anyone? ***UPDATED***

Okay. I think a good time for this will be on the 28th about 3:30. It will give everyone time to register, and we can eat a meal at the Brown Derby before the opening reception with the light hors d'ouevres and punch. Is there anybody else that wants to join us? Jody, is that okay for you? I hope so.

Dayna, I would love to. What day or time were thinking of? My dinner times are booked, but kunch is open just about anyday but Friday. How is your schedule?

Dayna, there's a big singles lunch meet on Wednesday. Just an F.Y.I. I'm was going to do this lunch meet, but then I remembered how much I don't care for Norweigian food, so I backed out. :rolleyes:

Quick Norway story: I had a boyfriend who lived in Norway. One year I went to visit him and his family for the Christmas holiday. I was there 3 L-O-N-G weeks! And I just about starved to death...LOL I survived on fresh oranges and boxed chocolates. Thank goodness that everyone gave his family boxed chocolates...otherwise I would have DIED! I don't care for cheese or seafood, and I'm not much of a meat eater....and that's all those people eat!!! :rolleyes: ;)

Anyhow, Dayna where is Brown Derby??? I'll be at the MK that day. :)

Tia, I'm glad you had chocolates and oranges. :) The Brown Derby is at MGM. I forgot about the singles lunch meet, but I would still like to eat the Brown Derby. I'm open for suggestions if these times don't work for anyone who wants to come.

Dayna, we're planning to do a Fantasmic dinner package that day, so it should work out OK for us. I was thinking of eating a little later than that, but with the times being as they are for the show it just might work out better to eat early so we don't have to rush.

We plan to spend most of the day on the 28th at MGM/Disney Studios, but I was thinking of hopping over to Epcot to ride Malestrom with the singles meet crew at 2:15.

Dayna, I think since we'll be doing the Fantasmic Pkg., we have to do our own PS. I'm really not sure about this one, so if anyone knows about the policy here, please let me know. We'll just have to have them put us together as close as possible.

Wish I could. We had plans to eat at the Brown Derby with friends years ago, but the plans fell through at the last minute. We just never have made the time to go there. I've already signed up for the Norway DISmeet so I'll have to pass on 11/28. Perhaps at DIScon II.

I've never eaten here before and am up to trying new things on this trip.

Hopefully I will be able to get everything done that morning that I need to do hotel wise etc. Of course MGM is the easiest park to get into with the handicapped placard (parking right up close) so that makes things nice.
